EDITED AGAIN in accordance to new rules

Well this is kind of like an inundation-type card. It may require some tweaks such as cost and amount.

Spoiler text edited.(31.7.)
- I´d rather call it Shard of Spontaneity (I´m not allowed to) because the death of the creature can cause a spontaneous creation of an extra skeleton or new bones... This kind of behaviour is typical for quantum mechanics and is not logical. Shard of Logic breaks the rules of logic.
- Synergy with Schrödingers cat, but not with Immolation. Could be understood wrong. If the death of a sacrificed creature triggers death effects, they are triggered twice, but you don´t get 2x the quanta.
- Spread to neighbours means that a creature with the Shard of Logic has a x% chance per turn to infect creatures in neighboring creature slots (numbers)(Edit: These creatures would also trigger death effects twice) .This would also fit to the spontaneity.
- The unupped version doesn´t spread
- Edit: Because of the death theme, this could also be a death shard, but the competition doesn´t allow that.

Damage is rounded down.

So you do 14 damage to opponent? You get 7 damage.
Opponent does 17 damage to you? He gets 8 Damage.

You firebolt a creature? Nothing happens. Creatures aren't sentient.
You firebolt opponent? You get 1 damage for every 3 he gets. (damage rounded down)

It's a water card. I'd rather it was time since it has great synergy with sundials but it was taken :)

Healing might work with this too.

Open to suggestions.

Note: As the description suggests - these shards work like pendulums.
If you use the shard while poisoned, it alternately removes 1 and 2 poison stacks.
If you use the shard while not poisoned, it will give you purify counters every second round

Edit: The effect might also apply for "burn"- counters, which are not implemented yet.

Notes for this card
The passive ability of Airborn Is given to the target creature.
Even if it already has Airborn,The Creature still gets the buff.
Airborn cannot be removed from the creature.

Autonomy as in not being influenced or controlled by outside forces. Hence ignoring.
"Ignored" would probably just look like delayed, and act as if that card was not in play for most purposes. It's considered a "targeted" effect, and it can target itself. It's stack-able of course, and 6 SoA will shutdown 6 cards.
Jen-i suggested in his Trials review that the effect avoid targeting pillars, which makes sense, so let's add that in.

The unupped Shard of Focus lets you pay your next spell using quanta matching your mark, instead of the quanta type needed for that card.
The upped Shard of Focus lets you pay your next spell using life points instead of quanta, but you the life loss is double the amount of quanta needed.
Both cards make you draw a card if your mark is  :aether.

If a card interacts with your quanta in some way, that is unaffected.
Examples:
  • Miracle will still drain all your :light
  • Fractal will still drain all your :aether
  • Stone Skin will still add maximum hp depending on your :earth
  • Fire Bolt will still deal damage every 10 :fire
Maybe they should cost some random quanta, i'm not sure. You pay a card cost (the shard itself), but for :aether this is free, so maybe adding a quanta cost should be ok.
But you're still paying the card with quanta (or life x2), so it's not really OP (i think).

I think both versions of the Shard are pretty useful, they should advantage duo or trio decks (the unupped is useless in a mono deck!)

EDIT: modified wording for cleaner mechanic explanation.

Or permanents only on the unupgraded version.

Could possibly last a certain number of turns, but the idea was to level the playfield so that neither side could permanently protect all their creatures/permanents.
In the same way, Purify is the only counter to poison, this can be the only counter to immortality/PA!

Shard of Determination (couldnt find a better name; does it really need to be a virtue??)

While Shard is in play, HP cant go higher. For example, Purify will remove poison, will add a purify counter, but player wont heal.
