ART: Unknown IDEA: mesaprotector NOTES: Meant to be good, but not overpowering, with Immolation and Otyugh. Four cards and 3 gives you only an 8|8 creature, so I think it's pretty balanced for a creature that essentially can't die. (Well, unless it's lobo'd.) The upped version plus Maxwell's Demon = awesomeness. Note that the card is still vulnerable to soft CC like Freeze and BB. SERIES: This is for the Card Design War 2.

Double? I feel this would be OP with immolate. I mean, you can easily make an OTK involving one phase gnome and 6 immolates. You'd get a 128|64 creatures in a single turn.

That's a 7-card OTK, which only takes care of 100 HP. Most 100 HP OTKs only require 5 or 6 cards. And besides, you can always be outrushed. 

That being said, if I were to actually submit this card (which I think I might), I'd add something like a 50-attack cap, or have the gnome respawn the following turn. This version's much simpler and more elegant, though.

7 card OTK that only costs 3 total isn't too bad. You really can't look down on the drawing speeds in some OTK decks.
Add a TU to the mix, and you have an 8 card OTK that only needs 3 to get started.

Using unstable gas 3 times deals 60 damage even without Phase Elves. OP!

Regardless as to whether or not unstable gas is overpowered, this card effect can be easily abused with that cards effect. Case closed.

Fractalling this would require two turns, and a whole crapload of . In addition, your combo calls for 3 UG. That's another 3 and 15 . For a field of 4|40 creatures? Hardly OP at all. You're using a whole bunch of quanta that could easily be used for something else that is way better than that.

Also, mesaprotector, you didn't mention anything about my cermation*6+phase gnome+Tu OTK combo.
