The old one looked too much like a bat/insect/something and needed more humanoid traits.
This one is perfect!

Just so it's clear to the common-sense impaired, green lines are for yes and red lines are for no. 



I was not at all confused when reading the flowchart at any point because of the aforementioned difference.
