I don't know if it's offtopic, but it would be nice to preserve old versions of the card, while discontinuing them from the bazaar.
So, when new art is released, people who got cards with old art keep them as they are, but cards with new art are available in the bazaar.
In this way, even old art can become "rare" and new people can get them in the arena, while old people can smile with pride because they got old cards!

What do you think?

It's awesome idea but don't forget other side of the coin, it could cause confusion among the new players

Maybe it should be disabled by default (only the newest art is displayed) and could be enabled in the settings?

EDIT: Also, i don't think new players will be disoriented by different art, because new players are used to read every card they don't recognize. After a while they'll get used to it. Also, if alternative art are rare, they will appear only in Arena and PVP. I suppose that players that fight against Arena or PvP aren't totally noobs!

EDIT: And to be quite frank, here.. What the hell? You'd want to double the loading time for everyone and create an entire new mechanic in the game just so people can ignore hours and hours of volunteer effort we're putting in? Sorry, but that's actually pretty rude.

No, no, i think that the new art is beautiful, but i think it's a shame to lose old art. I was thinking about maintaining an history, and adding collection value.
I'm not an old player, but i saw in the forum the old pillars and i think i missed something, and i remember my surprise when the Rewind art was changed.
I don't know, i think that all these things have value, and should be preserved.
That's was my intention, not to offend anyone.

I also understand that you're right about adding mechanics and the loading time, i've not considered these points.

i think this could be an alternate art thing, like chimers, that you can only get from arena or donating.

Actually, no, that's absolutely not what this is intended to be. As said in the first post, it's part of a much larger project. Details of that will come as we release them.

I did really like the idea of some "arena only" art, arena I think needs something to keep the masses returning as new cards are a bit far off.

Instead of waving a shiny prize at them to make the masses come back, why not make the game better? Less grinding, more fun.

Make the Otyugh eat something!
