This would look better if it was a Moebius twisted ring. I mean that the two branches shouldn't join at the centre but just overlap (one behind one in front). As we are at it, it wouldn't suffer a darker background. It would improve the contrast and the neon-like effect, IMO.

Nice observations. I was just going by the element symbol tracing. I didn't think of that. I can put up a modified one.

I made them. Well, I made photoshop paths of them(traced the symbols) and then enlarged them myself and recolored them. Here is a good place to look where I've done them in photoshop format(though I need to redo some of them so they are true vectors):

I was looking for your elemental vectors to use as a replacement for the old :elementmark icons and stumbled upon this. I decided I liked this better, so I used it here. Since you allowed it for card art I hope you don't mind.

I really like the entropy one. It's nice how the neon makes the inside of the circles look hollow.
