oracle lying? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=18120.msg230843#msg230843

Today Oracle told me 'Obliterator' for the next FG.
Happily, I went to the deckmaking screen to make an anti- Obliterator deck then immediately proceeded to fight him.
Problem is.... I encountered Eternal Phoenix.
(No refresh, no other match vs AI or PVP)

Obviously, I don't have any Screenie... Why should I SC when the Oracle tells me Obliterator, lol.

i suppose tha t could be a glitch. or something done on purpose. in real world the oracle predicted but was not always correct 100% but his predictions came true eventually. maybe is the same with the in game oracle?

I spun the oracle (is this the past tense of 'spin'? lol), saw obliterator, opened a new tab, searched on the forum for an anti- obliterator deck. I went to the deck building screen, copy-pasted the deck code, then went to the menu and proceed to play the FG.

I use FF 3.6

I've experienced this once too and I believe there are others who claimed the same as well. Still, I'm not sure what's causing it. Could it be possible at some point, the game was disconnected from the server and reconnected back causing it to refresh somehow without manually refresh the page?

Happened to me too. My connection's a piece of (insert derogatory term here), though. So suxerz theory would apply there. But it only happened once or twice to me. Meh.

Hmmm. Next time the Oracle gives me a prediction, I'll disable my net connection, then connect again and see what happens, cause I think that the Oracle and the random FGs have nothing to do with the net; it's coded into the game itself(my guess, atleast).

I'm not sure if i should post here or not, but whatever.
I can't prove this because i can't go to the oracle right now, but when you mouse over the question mark next to the FG prediction, doesn't it say there's a chance he might be wrong?
