This seems perfectly fine to me. I don't think the person used another immolation, as he still has a photon on the board. Keep in mind that he has a mark of fire, enough to take out some Lava golems for 4 quanta each. The rest only cost 2 quanta, not including the photon which is free.

Using nova twice would mean 2 quanta, in addition to the 3 turns, is 5 quanta...
With the immolation it would be 12, that's enough to take out the Lava golems.

All the quanta is accounted for since that 2 quanta in each type was available for use. This brings the cards into question...

According to your screenshot, it only looks like he played 8 cards, this is including the 2 novas and photon and immolation combo. You also seem unsure about the second use of photon and immolation... Playing 8 cards (up to 10 or 11) in 2 or 3 turns seems fine to me.

I suggest to reread the post and recount the quanta or cards played :)

I've noticed this a few times before, but made a screenshot now.

This is the board after only 2 or 3 turns (30 cards in my deck). He used Nova twice and Photon+Immolation in the first turn to cast Lava Golem and Lyanthrope. 2 Cards left in the Hand. So far so good. Next turn he suddenly draws quite a few cards and brings them into play without any mana restrictions apparently. There might've been another Photon+Immolation cast which I didn't notice but that would still not generate enough mana and would add up to 12 played cards in only 2 or 3 turns.

Connection dropped for the opponent after another 2 turns, but the game is still lost against the CPU.
