antimatter + phase shield ?? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=12344.msg154150#msg154150
« on: September 07, 2010, 11:45:44 pm »
OK here's the situation:
My opponent plays antimatter on one of my creatures. A turn later he plays a Phase Shield.
While my other creatures cannot deal damage to him, the antimattered one still keeps helaing him.  :o

While I don't think it's a bug in the true sense of the word, it's still very illogical and irritating.

Antimattered creatures go through shields because IMO shields block damage, not healing.

It's just the way game mechanics work.

"shift out of phase for 3 turns. Phychical attacks are unable to hit you while this shield is in play"
I always imagined that the wizard casting this becomes, like, in another dimension? (as the name dimensional shield suggests?)
If you cannot be hit while in the other dimension, then how can be healed?  ;D ;D

OK OK I'm just being picky.

(interesting questinon that just popped into my mind: does a sundial negate the healing? I've never encountered a situation liket this but my guess is that yes it does)

if you are talking about the antimattered creature, yes it does - it stops all creatures from attacking. but feral bonds still heals.

Well, my impression is that antimattered creatures bypass any shield (thus heal the target) except phase shield.

This is new.  When I tested antimatter, Wings, Gravity Shield, and Phase Shield were the only ones to block it.

UPDATE: I just tested it in game, and negative attacks were NOT going through Phase Shield.  Anybody else able to recreate this bug?

oh, i never knew about this. done some testing (in the trainer though) and antimattered the enemy's creatures. negative attacks did NOT go through gravity and phase shield but it pass through wings for creatures with airborne (a dragon with negative attack)

Right.  But non-airborne negative attacks do not pass through wings.

No it was a simple plain Minor Phoneix.
I will try to recreate the situation and if it occurs then I'll take a screenshot.
