Just one minor thing, I'd not even call it a buff - I'd call the fact that it doesn't have this possibility yet a mistake.

By having this card target, we have to consider its interaction with shields that reflect spells.

I really like the idea of using heal to counter SoSac, but I worry that it'll be another situation like purify and reflective shield.

This is also one of the things I'm not so sure about when voting. Life's Jade Shield is a pretty decent defense upgraded, so making this target would actually weaken a defensive mono-Life deck. Perhaps give it a fourth option to ignore reflectivity?

Also note that making this an SoSa counter by 'targeting' would make it much better than Purify. (Deal 20 damage? Even if it's conditional, that's the important part of an Unstable Gas for 3 :life !)

But considering that it requires a play mistake from the opponent + is sort of a 2 card combo between players..I don't know, it doesn't seem so OP. It's also pretty powerful targeting voodoo's, but again, requires a few cards and a duo, and is probably about as balanced as UG is. Disregard that sentence, I'm a retard.

The only issue I have with this idea is the fact that it makes Holy Light completely obsolete, making it nothing more than "That elemental hate card". Like at that point it has no purpose and would pretty much be worth taking out of the game. And that doesn't feel right.

So this makes Heal not that different from Holy Light (except for damaging darkness/death)... Cards should maintain uniqueness imo.

I don't think it is really needed to change that. About healing creatures, this will make Guardian Angel and Holy Light extremely overshadowed. Because of this, I support it to be able to target opponent or player (it makes sense). As for having problems with Emerald Shield, use Thorn Carapace instead or Bonds/Staves/Gratitiudes. ;)

I think Heal could do with an HP buff. I like the sound of 25 HP instead of 20 HP. The same as divinity, except divinity also raises max hp. I don't think it should be a counter to SoSac, there's already a card for that: purify.
