I agree that skeletons being RT'ed into other skeletons is something that creates frustration for the player, something zanz is trying to remove, should be removed. If fate eggs can actually become fate eggs, something I have yet to see, then this needs a change as well in my opinion.

If you ask me, both Reverse Timed Skeletons and Fate Eggs should be able to turn into creatures with overall atk/hp statistics being above 3. Including a chance to become Skeletons, Fate Eggs, Photons, Sparks, Viruses, etc. it doesn't make great sense to me and increases greatly the chance to turn into something UP.
The chance to turn into a Photon is meant to balance the chance to turn into a Dragon.
The chances are opposed but might not be balanced.

The ability of this card to be "resurrected" when targeted by a rewind effect was a cool buff, but doesn't do much for actually making this playable. I think there's a small alteration that would make this much more playable. Reduce its cost to nothing.

This give us an additional option for immo fodder, and allows it to be splashed into a Time duo without needing quanta to support it. Both of which I think will increase the playability of the card without making it OP.

It is possible that making the upped version free would make it superior to other free creatures, though I think their quanta generation abilities likely make up for the difference in stats.

Reducing cost of skeleton to 0 is nice idea, but...
For example Dragon or Nymph (or even Clawler) for 1 quanta (upped RT & Skeleton after changes) and 2 cards?
For me, it's too cheap...

This is just the tip of bad death cards. Just saying, death probably has the worst ratio of good stuff to bad stuff.

As far as making it cost 0 goes... I... Go on. Any problems I have with that are pretty feeble.

I just counted. There are 87 creatures in the game.
I'm not too concerned by a ~15/87 chance. of getting a really powerful creature.

It seems to me that two card slots and a gamble are a pretty balanced cost

Maybe it's good idea to buff skeletons. Gamble pretty balances it, but for it's just imaginable to get 8/30 dragon for 2 cards and one quanta. It's just me.  ::)
Btw, i just realised that this buff will overshadow Fate Eggs. It isn't great. :c

I've always thought skeleton was a useless card but never thought of a good idea to buff it. I actually like this idea. I don't think it would make it op and even if the uses of the card is still quite low it's definitely much better than how it is right now.

2 sky dragons is always better than 1 sky dragon. heh
To be honest, i don't have any other good ideas to buff skeleton. Maybe making "undead" passive (which making skeles + RT this same thing as Fate Eggs are) as an active skill? Then, skele will be affected (somehow, idk honestly) by SoR?
Oh, lobotomize.

Yeah, your suggestion to reduct cost of skele to 0 is good.
