The Ancestors Emerge! Suddenly your ship speeds forward as the massive black hole and its gravitation pull simply disappears! ""Impossible!"", you think to yourself as you look behind you at the space where the black hole had been. But instead of empty space, several large space ships has taken the black hole's place. You hear a voice, seemingly filling your mind. ""You have have meddled with forces you do not understand! We are the ones you call the Ancestors. Thousands of years ago, we realized that the universe was not big enough for both us and all the other races. We wanted everything. As a kindness to you, we created an alternate universe where we could live without having to destroy all of you. But now our universe is falling apart. By removing our Beacons, the pocket universe we had made for ourselves has started to destabilize. You have destroyed EVERYTHING we have worked for. So now we will destroy this universe, starting with you!"". You can see their ships getting ready for battle, and you realize you have no choice. You are in the middle of open space with no way to escape. You make quick contact with the other artifact hunters, and together you decide to fight! Read Brawl Rules All submissions must be made by making a new topic in your team's private board with the title: [ROUND X] ROLE(S) For example '[ROUND 1] Log Keeper'

Battle Stations! | COMBO TASKCaptain: Create a False God deck to represent the Ancestor Fleet. The deck must be fully upgraded and be built with the False God mechanics in mind (Triple Mark, Double Draw and Deck) Mechanic: Create a card to represent a weapon or omething else that you use in your battle against the Ancestors! (If you won the artifact from Round 5: It turns out this new artifact can be used as a weapon directly! You can create 2 cards instead of 1 if you want) Space Trooper: Build a deck designed to defeat the deck created in your Captain task! It must contain the card (or cards) you created in your Mechanic task. The deck can have a maximum of 6 upgrades. Be sure to motivate how your deck are able to beat the Ancestors! (If you won the artifact from Round 4: It sems this artifact can be used to power an old weapon that had run out of energy. You can use the card you designed in the Mechanic task in Round 3 if you want) The word limit for this whole task is 3000 words, 1000 per task-part They show themselves at last! | BASIC TASKShow us what the Ancestors look like! (If you won the artifact in Round 1: You finally start to make sense of the AI-like artifact you found earlier. This must have been used as some kind of robot pet by the ancestors! Draw that as well if you want!) A mysterious path | BASIC TASKWrite the story about when the Ancestors created the pathway to the alternate dimension and decided to live there. (If you won the artifact in Round 3: Holding the artifact makes you realize new things! This must have been how the gateway looked like! You can include a single image to show us if you want!) Supercharge | EVENTUse the power of the artifacts against the ancestors! For each artifact you have won you can pick one task that you will get +3 voints in, but every other task will lose 1 voint. Using an artifact is optional. Make a topic in your Private board where you write what tasks to use the artifact(s) on!

Bonus Task (Round 6) An Epic Conclusion Describe how your battle with the ancestors ends however you like: with images, a story, or maybe a play-by-play of when your deck beats theirs? Or maybe after the initial battle you manage to talk to them? All up to you! This task has no length limit, aside from maximum 65535 characters. Submissions recieve a winning task's worth of points. Winner recieves twice that amount! Deadline: Round #6 deadline.

* Every submission in general must remain PG-13, non-Log-Keeper submissions have a max limit of 1000 words (except if noted otherwise) and every submission must absolutely not exceed the length of a single private message (65535 characters).

Bonus task previously had the Event text by mistake. It is now replaced with the actual Bonus task! Also added a "if you want"-clause to the Artifact-modifier of the Mapper task.

Can the word limit be removed from the combo task? we have 3 tasks to put in one, would be nice if we weren't stuck to only 300 words each.

You're right. Not extending the word limit for a 3-combo task was an oversight, it is now increased to 3000 words.

Clarification: the card(s) you make for the Mechanics task does not have to be of the card type Weapon, they can be any card type.
