Spoiler for Divine Light:
Meet our newest, tremendous addition to our Team Divine Light - The Medic - directly taken from team based MMOTPS game Team Fortress 2.

If you want to see him in action in that battlefield, click the link, it's free to play!

We have hired him for his ÜberCharge (and his lovely doves, yes, the symbol of divinity) which can make us untargetable. Oh yes, I can feel this immortality in my vains. Additionaly, it heals us (up to 10HP)!

Watch this official video about Medic for further research :)

NOTES:
Kain Highwind is a Final Fantasy Character whose loyalty is in doubt.  When he delays his attack, those allied with him are uncertain if he's helping their foe by not attacking, but then he delivers a brutal and decisive strike to secure the advantage.  His untargetability and delay both end immediately before his attack double damage attack, when the controller ends her/his turn.

Spoiler for Death Dost Dominate:
Boo | Big Boo
These cards represent enemies in several Mario-franchise games.  They are known generally as "Boos" and specifically by many names per the varied species of 'boo'.

Description:
  • Element - Ghosts are spiritual manifestations of the dead, hence Death.
  • Ability - Non-lobotomize-able passive "shy" represents characteristic behavior of Boos wherein they hide their face/stop (do not attack) and are not destroyed by standard methods (untargetable - not immaterial avoids targeting by Shard of Wisdom).  This synergies with Death element's specific focus on death effects, encouraging the player to kill creatures (to avoid 'penalty' of shy). Also, the Cloak aspect over-ruling shy fits mechanically (under a Cloak there is no reason to hide your face no matter how shy) and elementally as Death and Darkness have pre-existing synergy focused on Nightfall and Parasite / Bloodsucker.
  • Stats - 2 ATK for 1 quanta seems Fractal-abuse-able, but consider a duo is required and creatures the opponent summons neutralize most of the first Fractal-ed Boos.  Big Boo is 6 HP (above all but one single-card CC kill-range) to simulate the difficulty of killing them in Mario games.  The 2 HP Boo is killed by any CC card except Dry Spell and is generally fragile and greatly affected by DR shields.  Under-powered is prevented by good ATK-to-quanta ratio (can be Fractal'd) requiring opposing decks to have counters available.
* As noted above there are many species of 'Boos' which would allow for additional expansion through the other species.

Spoiler for The Cuckoo's Nest:
Why yes, the upped card is in fact a different element than the unupped.
This is to represent her being fully possessed / taken over, improving her physical prowess and giving her
the ability to protect a copy of her self.
Both forms are Ranged due to their use of magic spells to attack.
The 0-2 damage on the unupped is random for each possible target.

Spoiler for The Cuckoo's Nest:
Class Cards. Class cards are played like spells and target a creature, but only one you control.  The class name appears above the creature and grants abilities which are explained on the card.  Clicking the class will activate the class ability instead of the creatures own ability (and can be done in addition to the creatures ability during the same turn.) Playing a new class card on a creature that already has a class will replace it.
The Fighter is pretty straight forward.  A buff to strength to hit harder, and a smaller buff to health to survive longer.
The Paladin is dedicated to you.  Every time you grace them by casting a spell, they get stronger.
The Ranger gets equiped with a nice bow and arrow, specially designed for their use if needed.  The arrows aren't designed to do damage, just to make the target easier for the team to deal with.
Mages have a wide array of spells at their disposal in D&D.  This was hard to represent in elements, but I felt that making it modular based on the target of the Mage class card was a good way to go.  The alchemy spells are the same spells that the Nymphs have as their ability.
The Cleric is typically the party healer, but that would be redundant in EtG so I went with a blanket protection effect (which would be represented by a counter of some sort.)  There is a one level of protection maximum, so targeting the same creature with it multiple times would be pointless.
The Druid summons little minions to protect himself and the rest of the party.
Tough to do a bard.  A fairly basic buff for the entire party.  The ability is  :air because I am imagining the Bard playing a flute...
Put some Rogue/Assassin into this card as well.  The reduction is separate from the damage, so he will still do damage if opponent is not at max HP.

Spoiler for Whispers in the Dark:
Spoiler for General Overview:
The Dungeoneers go and explore some dungeons and slay some dragons and whatnot. I tried to make the abilities plausable in EtG while still linked to the D&D classes and their skills. It is quite hard to balance CCG and RPG in one card :D.  Structuring the series as a group of 8 "Dungeoneers" let us represent core aspects of D&D as a whole, and each class individually, while still keeping the series closely tied together.
Spoiler for Valiant Dungeoneer:
Valiant Dungeoneer
Representing Paladin Class. Fatal damage is any countable damage that would kill a creature. For multiple copies, priority goes to the highest HP Valiant Dungeoneer.
Spoiler for Aggressive Dungeoneer:
Aggressive Dungeoneer
Representing Fighter Class. All about dueling and stuff. Tried to make it balanced. Pretty self explanitory.
Spoiler for Resilient Dungeoneer:
Resilient Dungeoneer
Representing Ranger Class. "Negatively affected" means damage, freeze, delay, lobotimization (doesn't really count since lobo removes the skill), infection etc. All about adapting to survive.
Spoiler for Sorcerous Dungeoneer:
Sorcerous Dungeoneer
Representing Mage Class. Attacks creature slots, not creatures, so it may miss. Basically just casts 3 lightnings each turn.
Spoiler for Gracious Dungeoneer:
Gracious Dungeoneer
Representing Cleric Class. "Most injured" means biggest difference between full HP and current HP. Why doesn't life have any creature healing already?
Spoiler for Bountiful Dungeoneer:
Bountiful Dungeoneer

Spoiler for Woodland Friend:
Woodland Friend
Both abilities are passive i.e. non-removable. Doesn't generate death effects when leaving play. Cannot be obtained except through Bountiful Dungeoneer.

Spoiler for Entrancing Dungeoneer:

Spoiler for Thieving Dungeoneer:
Thieving Dungeoneer
Representing Thief Class. The chance is 70% chance to be successful, 30% to fail. Evasive means "Dodges enemy targeting spells." similar to Shard of Freedom, but non-stackable (obviously).

Spoiler for Divine Light:
We tried to make something...different.

We made a new kind of creature called: follower.

A follower is, in all aspects, a creature, but:

- it has its own dedicated slot in the battlefield

- each player cannot have more than 1 follower in play (on the battlefield) at the same time

We made followers for 8 different elements, the idea would be to make one for each element.

As a side note, every card "quote" comes from the corresponding AD&D 2nd ed. class handbook.  ;)

Follower, in alphabetical order:

Spoiler for Bard:
Bard
"In every area and every region throughout the world, traveling musicians wandered throughout the land."

Spoiler for Cleric:
Cleric
"Clerics have major access to the spheres of [...] healing, necromantic, summoning."

Resurrected creatures are placed on the battlefield. If more than one creature died in the last turn, resurrected creature is picked up randomly from the last turn dead ones. If the battlefield is full you cannot resurrect any creature.

Spoiler for Druid:
Druid
"The animal form a druid assumes can vary from the size of a bullfrog or small bird to that of a black bear..."

A Druid can target one creature each turn, but only stats of the last one targeted are added to the druid.

Spoiler for Fighter:
Fighter - Berserker
"The Berserker is a warrior who has special attributes and abilities when he's in combat. In combat, he can achieve an ecstatic state of mind that will enable him to fight longer, harder, and more savagely than any human being has a right to."

Spoiler for Mage:
Mage
"Mages are wizards that cannot abandon their careers to become specialists."

A countered spell has no effect.

Spoiler for Paladin:
Paladin skyrider
"The Skyrider is a warrior of the air. Carried by his airborne mount, he soars through the clouds with the grace of an eagle and the precision of an arrow in flight."

We had enough with the usual stereotype Paladin - Light.

Spoiler for Ranger:
Ranger
"The species enemy was responsible for a personal tragedy in the Ranger's youth."

A ranger can target only one creature each turn; the damage is doubled until that creature is targeted by a ranger.

Spoiler for Thief:
Thief
"The world of the thief is a world of darkness and stealth..."

Cards stolen from the Thief go to your hand. If your hand is full, you cannot pickpocket.

Spoiler for THe Cuckoo's Nest:

Card breakdown:
Ultimate Dragon (pre-fix version)
Swallow (pre-fix version)
Horizon (pre-fix version)

This is the ultimate anti - The Immortal - rush deck!

The Ultimate Dragon can be spamed pretty early, even with that 1 turn delay until they are unlocked should still suffice to gain a fast advantage in the damage race.
As support damage, the Unladen Swallow can hit in some damage whenever you have spare :air quanta. Combined with the Event Horizon, they can be used to get rid of enemy creatures. If they happen to get delayed, no matter, as they go back to your hand anyway.
Yet another great thing about those Unladen Swallows is, that you can't deck out as long as you keep together with 6 swallows 2 more cards in hand, since you'll always end up with 8 cards in hand and can't draw a new one next turn.

Wow, such rush, very antistall, so totally worth your vote!

Spoiler for Divine Light:
The Revenge

A Death/Gravity deck with strong attackers. Both creatures are hard for the opponent to get rid of, and might end up hurting him more instead. Gram is also a very strong weapon, and it's sole disadvatange are countered by the Chromheart shield. If you are about to lose, sacrifice a Deadly Avenger with Dark Ritual to heals 36 HP. On the other hand, if you are very close to winning, you can use Dark Ritual on a Juggernaut instead to deal 4 direct Damage o the opponent.

Ancient GateAmount: x6
Dar'eth's LashAmount: x2
Deadly NeurotoxinAmount: x2
Quanta OrbAmount: x2
Feeding ShadeAmount: x6
Death Pendulum (Upgraded)Amount: x12
>>>>DESCRIPTION<<<<

Disclaimer: The version of Dar'eth's Lash used in this deck is the UP version with only 1% cloaking chance instead of 10%.

Play your Ancient Gate and at least a Feeding Shade asap. Feed the False Keys to the Shades while keeping your great DR4 shield alive. If you have at least 7 time quanta and an Ancient Gate in your hand, feed the Ancient Key to the Shade, play the Ancient Shield from your hand and start all over again. That way, an Ancient Gate & Feeding Shade combo provides you with 3 attacks of 9 damage each = 27 damage. Furthermore, the 6 different Ancient Gates means you will always be able to replace a PCed shield, while it is almost impossible to be Stolen (Ancient Gate is destroyed if its controller lacks an Ancient Key, except if your opponent PUs the real key; too bad all the False Keys seem like real to him/her!)
In other words, this deck guarantees a PC-resistant DR4 defence. If you are low on keys, you can sacrifice another Spirit to your primary Feeding Spirit or a Quanta Orb. Quanta Orbs can also serve as quanta storages or as big hitters at late game when your quanta supply is full or all your low-hp Shades have been CCed. Dar'eth's Lash can be payed via Death quanta and provides an unblockable poison counter each turn, meaning you can also perform a powerful Dar'eth's Lash & Ancient Gate stalling combo! Finally, Deadly Neurotoxin is excellent for negating that annoying Otyugh, Bloodsucker, Octopus or whatever creature threatens your strategy!
Still, this deck is vulnerable to CC spamming, good shields and bad draws but you can not have everything, especially while constructing a deck full of, supposedly, UP cards, do you?
:P

Spoiler for PROOF THE CARDS ARE CONSIDERED UNDERPOWERED!:

Spoiler for Ancient Gate:
Clever idea, it's a strong shield that's vulnerable to CC, especially AoE kind.  The card feels a little too expensive though - I'd recommend lowering the cost to 7  :time | 6  :time .
Oof... a shield that can be dominated by both CC (Hope), AND PC? I guess the defense is wonderful to have, but even then, it feels forced to have such a incredibly extreme shield to be defeated by AOE effects, various forms of CC (Otyugh, Shockwave, Lightning, Owl's Eye, etc.), and several permanent control cards that are all (in a way) much less expensive than this card. If the Ancient Key is rewound, then I'm guessing the shield is also removed... :(
Any cheaper and it'll cost as much as Diamond Shield. Won't work. Besides, even though it can be destroyed in 2 ways, it's still a single card. It doesn't require you to play more cards, the way Hope does.
any deck with cc can kill it though, and hope only needs two more cards to get get a defense of 10.

what about making it immortal though?

Spoiler for Dar'eth's Lash (1st, UnderPowered version of card with only 1% chance of Cloaking):
Seems a bit weak compared to other weapons. Arsenic inflicts regular poison (only marginally weaker than Shade Poison) and minor damage. This weapon cost about the same, except for with no damage.  :(
Maybe, but there just aren't enough situations where this card is better than Arsenic.
To be fair I think this card has become a bit UP as the game's changed a bit.

Spoiler for Quanta Gem (1st, UnderPowered version of Quanta Crystal):
I think it is vastly UP. Assuming rounding up, it is 6 quanta for a 2/2 creature. It is 53 quanta for a 10/10 creature, or 78 quanta for a 15/15 creature. It doesn't really help at all against devourers or discord, since it drops you to 0 quanta, which is exactly the worst situation to be in.

If you never use the ability, you have an extremely inefficient creature. If you do use it, you lost a card.

Parallel Universe is powerful with it, if you can get it to survive. Even if you are storing 16 quanta, it is only 4/4 which could easily be shockwaved.

It should maybe be +2/+2 per 5 mana with 16 and 24 for the maximums. Perhaps it should have a base of 0/3 to keep it from being killed by all PC. My hunch is that even with PU, it would not be overpowered. You are spending 9 mana and 2 cards to double your quanta. You need 24+9=33 mana to make it as efficient as nova. Imagine how bad nova would be if it you had to have 33 mana to cast it.
You are right about it being quite UP

But this is a bit intentional because this is not supposed to be a main-hitter for a deck. It is supposed to be a additional attack source when you have excess quanta.

sometimes you may find that you have too many pillars and you simply waste those quanta. And this card can help you speed up the game a little bit, and you can get the quanta back as soon as your Fractal / Miracle / Anything you need comes to your hand.

Also don't forget Fractal....If you store your  :aether in a quanta cloud, you can bypass the requirement of Fractal draining your  :aether

But a base HP is a good idea, and perhaps I should change it to : "Gain 1|1 for every 4 quanta absorbed"

Spoiler for Deadly Neurotoxin:
I'm not sure about this card. Isn't this just a mixture of Aflatoxin (with more poison damage) and Balisk's Blood (with a shorter stun duration and no HP increase)? Its deadliness can be pretty effective against certain enemies (dragons, for example), but the fact that it's a single target spell makes me feel that it can be situational at times if you're facing enemies with extreme HP (Gravity), abilities to negate it (Light), or cards to undo or become immune to the effect overall (Time and Aether).
anyone else thinking that the cost is high?
I would reduce the cost of both (unupped and upped) by one
lightning costs 2 or 3 :aether for 5 damage
I like it, but I actually think its a bit overpriced; howsabout 5 and 4 :death respectively?  Improved Plague infects all of your opponent's cards for 2 :death, so this shouldn't be too much more.

Spoiler for Feeding Shade:
Seems kinda weak to me.  For the same cost I could have a Mummy instead.  More health and I don't have to sacrifice a creature every turn.

I'd think about either letting you sacrifice non-worthy creatures to attack or having it be one sacrifice to enable repeated attacks.
Seems sort of weak unless there's some way to spam worthy creatures to sacrifice...well fractal minor phoenixes could work to a degree if there's some way to quanta balance. Besides that, I don't see any other good uses.

This deck is designed to be a moderately effective air rush for unupped play.  Thunderbirds deal respectable damage, and can use :aether quanta to CC the enemy or add to their damage.  Falcons ramp up in damage as more of them come onto the field.  Finally, aggressively using discard to ditch unneeded extra pillars and get more birds on the field as fast as possible should help you secure a win.

Description
Dagger = Menagerie
Short Sword = Tryptophan
Hammer = Sunset

The deck is fairly straight-forward to play.

Card - Purpose
Sunset - Play on the turn using Menagerie to speed through the "0 quanta" turn.
Tryptophan - This deck should play like a rush so with "generally UP" cards you benefit from some UP-control.  Tryptophan to the rescue!
Menagerie - For 6 cards you get 18 3|3 Mutants with no ability.  The UP label generally focuses around the loss of all :life quanta which is helped by the Sunset turn-skip type function.  Watch out for Rain of Fire! <-- not a problem if you know you're facing another "UP CIA deck" ;)

Uncle Zawadx's bedtime story

“Gather round everyone!” Mama Phoenix’s voice echoed through the cavern. Any day with a fractal’s worth of Minor Phoenix was bound to be hectic, and so Mama Phoenix was glad that the day had come to a close. “It’s story time!”

“Ok, so today I’m going to tell you all a true story! Back when I was young, I was a quite energetic lass, and one day I decided to race a Gnome Rider!”

“Race a slow and steady gnome rider!” one of her kids exclaimed, “That was ‘energetic’ back in the day? Mom, I don’t even-“

“SHUT UP OKAY!” Mama phoenix blazed up, “IF YOU FEEL LIKE MOPING THEN YOU CAN GO TO BED WITHOUT ANY STORY! Now, where was I? Ah yes, we decided on a track for the race and all, and some people even showed up as spectators. Not something any of you will ever experience.” She grinned slyly at her children.

Once she’d had her moment of glory was over, she started once again, “So we decided to start at 4 sharp. But you know what a slowpoke I am, what with all the quanta I need and all. But once I got going, I was unstoppable! Soon the starting line was out of sight, and so was the Rider.  I decided it was safe to catch my breath, and so I slowed down for a bit. But all of a sudden there was a BAM! I looked back to find the Rider in flames and…”

Several of the girls screamed, “Ugh, you had to kill off the cute little rider Mom?”

“MY STORY, MY RULES!” Mama Phoenix was off again, “AND IT’S THE TRUTH, OKAY! Now, the Rider was replaced by a Lava Golem. Standard Immogolem rush, you know. And the golem just kept growing, getting faster and faster until it had taken the lead. I kept up my steady speed, but my little hiccup was surely gonna cost me the race. But then, a weird light monk teddy appeared in the sky followed by a band of drunken brawlers. A miraculous light surrounded the track, and suddenly the Golem was back at the start. Add to the fact that I could feel several fire bolts propelling me forward, and the race was won in no time.

“Kids, I hope you can now see why slow and steady always wins the race. And stay away from Immolations; you don’t want to suffer like that poor gnome!”

“Mom’s getting crazier,” one of the minors muttered, “what with all these monk teddies and drunken brawlers…”

“Yeah, like Firestall would ever survive an Immogolem rush…” another interjected.

“OH SHUT UP ALL OF YOU.” Mama Phoenix displayed the true meaning of energetic. “I DON’T KNOW HOW I WOULD PUT UP WITH LIVING WITH YOU ALL. THAT’S ENOUGH FABLES FOR A WEEK! BED, NOW!”

Poison's Fable
All the young nymphs giggled
as they played in the park.
There was the sound of children's laughter,
and the sound of a dog's bark

It all happened so fast -
a stab, a scream, a cry!
I knew not what to do,
Wanting her not to die

I should have kept watch,
kept her away from that thing:
that tiny, toxic, Deathstalker
Oh what a dreadful sting!

Just one small distraction
made for a horrible day!
Heed this advice, if you see Scorpio
Just stay away!

Spoiler for Silver Ferns:
\One evening a squirrel was returning home from a day collecting nuts.
As he ascended his tree, a serpent greeted him with a smile.

“What have we here?” inquired the serpent.
“Why, I’m the inhabitant of this tree, and I’ve returned with dinner,” replied the squirrel.
“Yesss, you mossst cccertainly have,” observed the serpent. “Oh I am ssso famished. But I am weak and unable to find food for myssself. Sssay, could you ssspare sssome of your dinner for me?”

The squirrel was insatiable and greedy, usually prone to hoarding everything he could gather. But he felt compassion and an obligation to share his abundance with the poor creature.

“I suppose I could part with a few, just this once,” the squirrel answered as he set them atop a branch.
The serpent coiled its body tightly around the shells, cracking them open.
“Ssso many treatsss,” the serpent noted, “did you gather these all for yourssself?”
“Oh no,” the squirrel replied honestly, “my mate and two children live here with me.”
“You don’t sssay?” The serpents eyes widened briefly then narrowed to little more than slits. “Now I feel awful. I should at least like to thank them persssonally for dinner. Could you show me the way?”

The squirrel had encountered serpents once or twice before, but none had ever bothered him. Certainly none had been so polite and gracious, and he was fond of making new friends.

“Right this way,” piped the squirrel, “but mind the pitch as we climb, you could get easily get stuck in it.”
As the squirrel disappeared into the hole he called home, the serpent waited patiently outside.
“I’ve made a new friend today,” the squirrel announced to his family as he laid dinner out for them. “I found the poor fellow starving on my way home."

The cheerful chatter and bright smiles that greeted the squirrel quickly quieted and faded as the serpent’s shadow came over them. With a flash the serpent bolted into the hole, striking three times in an instant then turning to face the squirrel, tongue flicking playfully. With a horrified stare, the squirrel saw his family was gone, and three lumps had appeared in the serpent’s belly.

“What have you done? I brought you here to say thank you…”
“For dinner, and I have. I am most grateful. Essspecially to you,” the serpent slowly slithered past the petrified squirrel, “that’sss why I’m leaving you unharmed. I think we could be great friendsss.”

But once the serpent had nearly crawled out of sight, one of the bulges caught on some pitch. The squirrel darted after him and pinned his neck down with his hind legs and began gnawing through his belly just above the first lump. The serpent thrashed and writhed but there was nothing he could do. In moments the squirrel’s family was free, shaking the mucus from their fur. They each grabbed a piece of the serpent and carried it back up to their hole, and had the best dinner they have ever had.

Moral of the story: Whether a vice or virtue, those that adhere to their true nature will prevail over those that defy it.

Spoiler for Whispers in the Dark:
Once upon a Time, the Purple Nymph, filled with envy and pride being one of the rarest, challenged every other entity to show her superiority. As a judge, she planned to humiliate every other elemental who dared try to prove itself against her. First came the Mindgate.
The Nymph asked: "And what you can do?"
"I can see your thoughts before they even come up in your mind!"
The Nymph laughed and answered in a scornful voice: "And can you use them? Can you do anything except see them in your mind?"
The gate felt horrible and said: "No, I cannot..."
"You are worthless, now fade away for now and forever..."

Then the Pulverizer came.
The Nymph asked: "And what you can do?"
"I can destroy everything you love and strike harder than you."
The Nymph laughed again and answered in a scornful voice:
"And for what price? Do you think anyone can pay the cost for your childish games?"
"But now I have some spare quanta..." said the Pulvy.
"We don't care what you have now, we want something more efficient than you. You are worthless, now fade away for now and forever..."-said the Nymph.

Then the Otyugh came. The nymph was prepared for the Oty to come, so she had hidden a Plate Armor under her clothes.
The Nymph asked: "And what you can do?"
"I can devour anything and become stronger."
The Nymph laughed again and answered in a scornful voice:
"So can you devour me? If you can, then prove it to me."
The Otyugh tried and tried, but cannot do. The Nymph burst out of laugh then said:
"You are worthless, now fade away for now and forever..."

She felt tired and wanted to end up this competition fast. When the Parasite came, she just said that: "I wouldn't have thought that you'd have enough bravery to come here. Your strength just fades away in a second if I wish it so, and waiting for ages until you can poison something is not a thing that I have time for... Now I want to see the next and last candidate, because I don't have the time for anyone else's stupid, ineffectual skills."

A little elemental came and only said in a lovely tone: "MOO!"

The little cow instantly melted every elemental's heart. The Nymph became angry with the others for humiliating her with that ridiculous thing, and becoming jealous of the cow's fame, she made a plan to kill it with the Seeds of Chaos. The Mindgate saw this plan and felt truly sorry for the cow. At it's urging, the other candidates united together to defend that silly but lovable cow. The Nymph wanted to reach the pillars to obtain the needed quanta quickly, but the Pulverizer was always faster. The Parasite used it's poison to make her weaker, and at long last, the Otyugh swallowed her. To not sow anger amongst the community of elementals, everyone agreed that the cow had won. Noticing their good teamwork united them into a Rainbow, they played a lot together for now and forever...

Lesson:  Unity brings the strength individuals lack.

Spoiler for The Cuckoo's Nest:
The Obsessed angel

Since the first great war between the elements began, an archangel was searching for his long lost companions. Many years had passed, but he refused to give up, barely remembering anything else, never stopping to eat or sleep. Coming across a Crusader he regained his hope for the first time in ages and asked:
- "Fellow light creature, I beg for your help. Have you received any news from the Adamant Division?
- "It was disbanded long ago" - the Crusader replied - "but may I ask, why do you call yourself a light creature, my dear spectre?"

In confusion the angel looked at his robes for the first time in years, and much to his horror they were pitch black instead of a glowing white. Turning his head to see his wings he saw only chains, keeping him bound to some distant place. Ashamed of himself, he fled, flying as fast as he could muster. After a while, the memory burned in his mind again. He had to find news of the Adamant Division, he had to find his lost companions. He had to complete his mission.

Those that dwell on the past will remain in the past.

Given Krz's sharing, I feel I should grace you all with my personal fable (which was sadly not used)

Spoiler for Beware of swears:
Once upon a time, there was a shard called Focus. All the other shards laughed at Focus because he was only a 0|1 creature. Then one day, Focus got angry and accreated three other shards, Gratitude, Freedom and Void, and then took all the quanta and left. The moral of the story? SoFo is some serious shit; don't fuck with SoFo.

Card Design: Vote
Whispers in the Dark followed by Death Dost Dominate

Card Design: Informed Opinion

(Each card ranked 1st to 4th against the other interpretations)
TeamBardClericDruidFighterMagePaladinRangerThiefTotal(low is best)
The Cuckoo's Nest4142334122
Whispers in the Dark2223212216
Death Dost Dominate1414421421
Divine Light3331143321
Yellow ideas are ones that I saw lots of potential in. Some of them have very low rankings because they have a lot of work left to realize their potential. I used the number of yellow ideas as a tie breaker between Death Dost Dominate and Divine Light.

Extra Comments
Spoiler for The Cuckoo's Nest:
Class Cards: Well designed new card type. I especially liked how you implemented the 2nd activated ability.
Series: You made each card cheap enough that multiple could be used in a deck. Each requiring a creature this reduces the number that can be used in a deck. So it seems you intended decks to use 1-2 of these classes. Having some of the classes be duos kinda restricts their creature to one of those two elements (ignoring the rare trio deck).
Ranger: The card implies the pinged creature gets "Ranged". This is a typo correct? Ranged is a strictly positive ability IIRC.
Mage: This card would need serious effort to balance all of its uses. Good idea for versatility but the implementation needs work (more than 1 week's worth to be fair).
Spoiler for Whispers in the Dark:
Series: You made each card cost enough to suggest only 1-2 types of dungeoneers.
The limited time (1 week) seemed to really hurt your balancing sense. Sorcerous Dungeoneer seems like a good example to point to. To be fair, there was not enough time to create 8 novel cards and balance them.
Spoiler for Death Dost Dominate:
Series: Your creatures have a variety of different casting costs. This implies that you wanted lots of variety in how many types of these creatures would be used in a particular deck.
Thief: Passive abilities are frequently used as a balance tool, for this reason I do not like the idea of "removing passive ability from target"
Spoiler for Divine Light:
Not much to say here
Series: You designed the follower card type after the Weapon/Shield model. All the implications of those card types apply to your card type. Namely that it would be rare to see a full 6 copies used or to see multiple different followers included in a deck.

I'll finish tomorrow

Ranger: The card implies the pinged creature gets "Ranged". This is a typo correct? Ranged is a strictly positive ability IIRC.

Ooops, should have ordered that better.  The creature Ranger is played on gets Ranged (and the bonus and the Ping ability.)

Anyways, onto analysis of sorts.  Note these are first impressions and my votes aren't decided yet.
Whispers: Fairly solid set.  That Cleric ability is really good.  The rest of the cards don't jump out at me as particularly good or bad.
DDD: That upped mage... broken even without that ability.  With the ability?  Well you have accreation on a stick for gravity decks.  An easy easy way to bump the many creatures in a life deck, and an extra mind gate in an aether deck.  And the Cleric... I can almost see why you decided to make the Mage  :underworld but why the Cleric?  The alignment idea is actually pretty neat (I would have gone with Good vs Evil as opposed to Chaotic vs Lawful but that's stylistic).  What doesn't make sense is why this is the only card to do it.  I mean, the idea is great.  Had you made all of your cards use it to different effects I would have really liked the series.  Using it only on one card makes it seem out of place.   The bard seems a bit too strong at first glance.
Divine Light: On their own, I like most of the cards.  The issue I have is that the Follower card type limiting you to only having one goes against the spirit of the Adventuring Party.

Boss Cards:
Divine Light Seems fitting for the previous round of being in theme but not quite in element.  Haven't played team fortress, doesn't the gun also make the target stronger?
Whispers: I like this pseudo momentum thing it has going on.
DDD Yeah the stats don't seem much of a problem.  It actually needs a trio to really abuse (Boo + Fractal + Eclipse), although that is a pretty powerful deck there...

More analyses later.

Artist: Divine Light/Whispers in the Dark

Cuckoo's Nest/Silver Ferns just rub me the wrong way by emphasizing that the game may be played for free; that's certainly true, but it's far from being the main reason people like Elements.

Silver Ferns' font selection seems questionable. Generally, any font set as the default in Microsoft Word or an equivalent program looks unprofessional; it would be better to choose a more esoteric font from your text program or better yet to grab a collection of fonts online.

Cuckoo's Nest has significantly more stuff happening on the left than on the right.

Death Dost Dominate's banner is too complicated. It's preferable to use images that convey the thematics of the game rather than the mechanics, since the pictures chosen require too much reading for my taste. It might be more effective to use larger pictures of some of the more interesting-looking marks instead of small images of all twelve with the names right next to them, for instance.

Maybe it's just my screen, but Whispers' "Elements" text looks squished and there's something weird going on with the Life mark above it. Props for effort, though. You're apparently using Paint or an equivalent program, so I'm judging this less on the actual appeal of the art, since it's hard to make something that looks good with Paint or equivalent. It might be better to just draw it out by hand and scan it, though.

Divine Light's banner just looks clean and polished.

Boss: Divine Light/Whispers in the Dark

I liked Medic and Kain Highwind a lot thematically; I can see what the designers were thinking when making them despite having barely any idea what the source material is like, which demonstrates a strong expression of thematics. Medic's ability is too expensive for my tastes, though, and the healing makes Guardian Angel even more useless.

DDD's Boo has a really complicated mechanic. REALLY complicated. It refers to a ton of factors neither the player nor the opponent can feasibly control for long and that can change frequently from turn to turn, so it's hard to design a deck around. The wording also makes it seem like Boos are targetable if they are under Cloak, when they necessarily cannot be. Ultimately, the mechanic is inelegant.

Cuckoo's Nest reused in-game mechanics. This isn't necessarily bad if you put a twist on them, but explicitly using the names of those mechanics (Ranged, Deja Vu) demonstrates lack of effort. There's not enough changes to existing mechanics to keep things interesting. Owl's Eye/Short Bow don't explicitly write 'Ranged' on their card text either. Spark Wave should have both words capitalized. Spark Wave is a generic magic user-ish ability; I can see this card working just as well thematically if you replaced the name 'Shizel' with the name 'Lightning Elemental' or something similar, for example, suggesting that the thematic connection is weak. Also, Aether really doesn't do randomness.

Given all the really weird and not-nearly-weird-enough stuff I can see from a quick skim, I'm not touching Card Designer/Off-Topicker with an eleven-foot pole. It'd just take way too much time to carefully think everything through and there are a lot of incomparables involved. Sorry.

Deckbuilder: Silver Ferns

The Cuckoo's Nest: Not much to say, really. The deck just feels... bland. Sorry.

Divine Light: Not much to say, really. The deck just feels... bland. Sorry.

Silver Ferns: Taking advantage of Ancient Gate's spamming of useless creatures to power Feeding Shade is quite nice. It has some painful weaknesses, but with the card pool in question that's not too bad. Quanta Orb is a really weird choice, though, and you could definitely use more CC. I was anticipating something that took advantage of death effects, but this seems workable as is.

Whispers in the Dark: I can't see Thunderbird judged by consensus to be clearly UP... *checks* Yep, it isn't. Neither is Falcon. The UP version of Discard is 'Discard 1 card, draw 1 card' which is useless in this deck.

Death Dost Dominate: With six damage sources the deck looks a bit too luck-dependent. There are also far, far too many Sunsets, given that your only use for them is on the turn you play a Menagerie... Hey, wait a second, I've seen that card before! It doesn't work like that! *double-checks* Indeed, Sunset explicitly doesn't let you produce quanta on the advanced turn. "Things it would not affect: ...Quanta production via pillars/towers/pendulums"

Forum Expert/Writer: I am sufficiently uninformed that I will not attempt to vote on these.

Brilliant sir, pure literary brilliance.

Artist task : I love all of those. Really , great job from all artists frmo all teams, I believe they all deserve congratulations there. Voting is going to be difficult.

Boss task : Sadly cannot say the same here.
Imo , DDD's is too complicated, probably english being a second language doesn't help but I still don't understand it after 3 reads.
cuckoo : Might be personal, but seems ... weird to me. Seems like too much was tried to put into one card, Not only are the unuppeds and uppeds from different elements, but they are also entirely different cards, they don't seem to have a link whatsoever when you look at it from first sight. Easily could have been 2 different cards, even more so than toadfish and pufferfish.
I see Divine Light's medic's ability as a quint that you have to pay every turn, but affects both himself and another creature. Can be used for stuff like : protecting a seraph on its first turn out, etc. While I am not saying it is awesome, it brought my curiosity enough to get my vote.

card designer : My vote goes to DDD. Here it is mostly personal preference, don't have much to say.

Deckbuilder : I like none of those. Not even ours. But working with underpowered CIA cards was a tough task, so I can't blame anyone.

Forum Expert : I'm going to vote for cuckoo but only because I must.

writer : Divine light made me laugh. and it got my vote.
