Welcome to Brawl #2! I hope you're all excited. Chapuz and I have been working hard to improve on Brawl. It's a better, more streamlined event now with more to offer for players looking to join this time. Here, we wish to tell you about some of the other changes to Brawl that are not part of the "rules" but are worth mentioning!
Standardized Submissions
As a common request, submissions will be standardized almost completely! With each round, we will make very clear how submissions are to be sent and not accept submissions who haven't followed these criteria.
New voting
In order to increase the attention given and decrease the need to vote for one's own team, voters will now receive two votes on each submission. Additionally, anonymity has been completely removed from voting, and we encourage open discussion of who voted for what and why.
More Cooperation
Starting as of round 2 of the event, there will be combo rounds where multiple teammates will work together to develop an submission. Each member will get at least two combo rounds in which they will work with another. Of course, we encourage everyone to work together on all submissions!
Wagers and Challenges
These are better described in the rules. But, these new options will allow for more strategic thinking each round and more chances for comebacks later on in the event. They also enhance the "Brawl" feeling as you call out your opposed teams or place bets on yourself to do amazing.
Redone points
Speaking of comebacks, the new scoring system allows teams to make comebacks much, much easier than Brawl #1, encouraging players to continue playing even when things may seem bleak in the later rounds.
Auction
Finally, the Auction. By creating an auction system for Brawl #2, we ensure that teams will be more balanced and that one player can't sweep the event for their team. Additionally, teams will be less random and more likely to cooperate. More details are available in the new rules.
Additionally we would like to suggest to bosses to make a sync or titanpad in order for your teams to have a place to meet and work together.
