If anyone will come clean and say they were sharpshooting/working the votes, you wont be penalized in anyways, as it is technically a legel move. But an apology would go a long way towards making many feel better.

Just 1 more bit of interesting statistics to add to the voting this round:

For the OT task, there were 53 members voting, my youtube video has 30 views as of this morning, so even if we assume that every view counted by youtube was actually a voter, it still leaves 23 voters who have cast their vote without even looking at my submission. I think that can be safely considered the minimum estimate for fake votes, i.e. 43% padded, cheat-votes.

I found it interesting that Fire's minimum votes in pretty much all the rounds was about 14-15 (Actually for most of the polls they were at exactly 14 and 15). I couldn't figure out why the last round was higher, but I guess Naesala found out why...

(Unfortunately, with the low number of actual voters, having a voting block of only 3-4 members would be enough to win the event)

And I know that I've looked at it twice (since half my votes somehow got reset (or I forgot to do them, but I'm pretty damn sure I voted for my own topic), so that makes it even worse.

I am not sure this is the case. I don't really trust YouTube's view counting because the results I have seen in my uploaded vids are not correct too.
Furthermore, your submission was pretty good even without the YouTube vid because you submitted the vid's text under the vid's link.

I know everyone is upset but pointing fingers and all this conspiracy crap has to stop.
It's over, it's done - it didn't turn out quite like we wanted, but it is what it is.
Stop being so hostile - this is entirely against the nature of this event.
Leave the fact finding and digging to the brawl masters - they have a far higher chance of finding anything relevant.
If you want to suggest voting changes - maybe something else of concern - go right ahead - but please get away from the angry twitch reactions.
I'm guilty too - but seriously, we all need to take a step back and calm down. Be civilized.

It is the right of every person that feels cheated to investigate on his own with the premise of not crossing certain boundaries.

If this is supposed to be a friendly, merit-based competition with no real prize for winning (except, apparently, points in the Guilds which I don't know anything about really), then why cheat and be unfair? There is no reason.

I've been nothing but nice and have not stated my true opinions during all of Brawl. This has just made me snap after all the unfair votes given to people (not just my team or myself) because some people can't bare to lose.

I know what you mean. I am sorry for that. You have every right to be angry. This is the last round and perhaps the most important of all. That is why I really respected opsinis. He is the most quiet of all, and being second is hard. I told him if I had been him, I threw my laptop out the window already.
I am not happy myself already, and in general, I felt we are victims too in a way. We work hard for 6 weeks too, we do not deserve the victory to be condemned like this.

Ok so i am a little late to the POed party here but i was on vacation (totally didnt reschedule my vacation just so i wouldnt miss a chunk of brawl    ) and now i want to weight in.  first, i would like to ask for someone who voted for entropy over my card in the challenge to explain why... because as far as i can tell, my card is objectively better... and thats not something i would say about almost any other card round/contest, including the one we won. i mean, their card didnt even follow the rules of the card type by saying it doesn't stack (and even quoted the part where they should stack from my rules in round 5.) and then there is the fact that the card type they created was IMO the best one from round 5 (though voters liked other cards better, they clearly liked their card type better than mine.) for me to lose the challenge by such a wide margin... i would just like to know if there was something that happened that wasnt vote tampering, because if there was, then something is clearly wrong with my card design philosophy that i need to correct.

card designer task: im fairly ok with losing this one, i did stretch the theme a bit...

i'm not gonna complain about the bonus task, i actually foresaw the possibility of us being penalized by voters for creating something that wasnt a traditional snapshot (picture) even though it does technically fit the definition of one.


might comment on other tasks and respond to posts after a good nights sleep. need a vacation after my vacation...
