It has nothing to do with war Acs, it's an entirely different event. No PvP action either! (no in-game battles I mean)

As Acsabi said that's not my favourite type of event but some section (specially the deckbuilding one) looks pretty cute for me :)

Well, that was not the original idea but I guess that comes as an added bonus.

The basic idea comes for the old idea of having a Support Team in War, players who help the War team in non-PvP ways. This however had some problems, for example making War less PvP-orientated which would not go well with the hardcore PvP'ers. But there was a demand for Support Team thing, so making a new major event for it made sense. Forums have always been an important part of the community, and having a Forum event like this could really help bring everyone together.

The plan is to rotate three events: War, Forum Brawl and Trials, so that one is always active (with 1 week break between events). This gives Masters more time to look awesome and would make being a Master more than just being a War General.

Hopefully we will get enough participants for this. I'm a bit worried because not only do we need 72 active participants, we need people with specific skills. That Artist role is my main concern right now. It's going to be difficult to find 12 artists, and it's going to be even more difficult to find 12 artists where skill level is roughly the same. Otherwise it could easily lead to a situation where the same 1-2 people win every single challenge. My first reaction for this problem was to expand the role somehow, but I'm not sure how we could do that so that it would still make sense.

You can always limit the artists' tools and possibilities to force them into a somewhat fair 'fight', like letting them use only MS Paint (...), or to specify a single source of basic art for everyone, and such. We had things like these in previous competitions.
Also, making team flags/banners here too, like in War, may prove useful to keep them busy for awhile :]
