We need to ensure draft rules don't change once drafting has started, and such rule changes should definitely never be applied retroactively.  For instance, Team Z cannot be allowed to draft after the deadline for any reason at all if that was the original rule.  Team Y, Team X, and all the other teams may have drafted according to their belief that Team Z missed the deadline.  Adding rule changes, if absolutely necessary, should be on a this-point-forward basis only.
If I'm not mistaken, these suggestions are for future instances of the Booster Draft, not for changing the current event.
Yes, this feedback topic is for Booster Draft #2. It's better to start collecting feedback as soon as the event starts, rather than doing it after the event when everyone has already left. We will change rules mid-way only if there is a huge problem like loopholes that enable exploiting.

I don't where I read that but I thought we would have the possiblity to trade some of our cards at the end of the card drafting period. Unfortunatelly I haven't been able to find the quote back. Maybe I just imagined it. I still think it could be nice ...
Trade how? With other teams?

Yes. When all cards have been drafted. With the booster pack system I didn't really choose every thing. I may have good cards that I cannot really use. We could have a couple of days where the leaders can try to exchange some of their cards with others...

I would be in all favor of this, but maybe it could change deck building to where it's not as challenging since you can *almost* trade with over teams to create perfect decks.
Say Team X has immolation and something like pandemonium, Team Y has phoenix and bonewall these two alone can trade for a killer deck with each other and really kill off the "creativity" this booster draft has to offer.
I can see how it could be bad, but also how it could be good for people like me who wasn't here 1 day and missed the starting draft. We can trade with someone to get ourselves back on the correct track again. Maybe I think it's good just because I missed a single draft myself, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing some sort of team-by-team trade off kind of activity after it's all set and done.

I do not support trading.

If trading were implemented, the only strategy behind drafting would be to pick the strongest cards and trade them for cards with good synergies. This would mean drafting would only be hoping to be lucky enough to be able to obtain good cards.

Currently, without trading, there is strategy in drafting because players have to make a choice between strong cards and cards that have synergy with the cards they currently have. With trading, the only good option would be to pick the strongest cards. Thus, with trading, drafting would be more luck and less skill. Trading would be very unfair to those that started with a weak pack. Team E

Lastly, one of the best things about this event is that players are forced to use decks not commonly seen; basically, they have to come up with their own ideas instead of copying a popular deck. Trading would ruin the creativity.
Somehow still around, somewhat

Trading also ruins the major ability of picking other cards for other teams. They can simply trade the cards a team forced them to take for something better.
You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.

I think we should have secret drafting using the secret sections sg can set up the only downsides I see is a longer wait after teams are finalized.

I think agree with previous comments is that trading would be bad. It might work in some other event, but not in Booster Draft because that's not what the event is about.

Same thing with secret drafting. If that were to implemented, I would have to change everything, almost start from scratch. It's better to leave that idea for some other drafting event.

My feedback: I think that teams should not be able to face the same team twice during round one. The seeding system I used for this event, was completely random, which lead to us having two matches between Teams A and G. This gives too much power to RNG Gods. Next time we'll change it.

I'm not really sure yet how I feel about the tournament-style system for playing matches once the drafting is done.  You start the event as a team, but then you play it out as individuals?    It feels a bit anti-climactic to have half the participants eliminated from the event after a single match, especially considering the heavy role RNG plays in many tournaments.  You can win the tournament and never have to face the team who drafted the hardest matchup for your cards, or you could get your team paired off against the worst matchup in some or all of the games.  As it stands now you can win the event and only face off against 3 of the other 7 teams total.
Carpe Diem!!

Actually it's more than just that.  There are the number of double-ups in the first round:
A vs. G
B vs. E
C vs. D

The system used here is almost identical to what War uses. In War there are teams with certain cards. Players fight until their Vault becomes smaller and some players are left out (equivalent of players dropping out from Booster Draft tournament). Those players are still part of the team, and help their team win, even though they are not fighting the actual battles. The last team standing, wins.

But this is where things get different. In Booster Draft we need one "main" winner because only one person can get the reward code. This is why when one team is left (and there is more than 1 player on that team), those players basically disband the team and start fighting as individuals until we have winner.

In the end we will have one winning team with 4 players, and 1 individual winner from that team.

Sure, getting eliminated during round one might be anti-climactic, but it's only anti-climactic if you lose. So don't lose. And even if you lose, you can still help with deckbuilding etc.

I chose tournament format over others because I dislike "point system" in an event like this. I find that to be too "e-sport" and very anti-climactic because the winner is usually known before the last round even starts. With tournaments, the pace is faster, and it's never over until the last match is over. Tournament are more like real fighting than counting points. I mean if we fight in some medieval battlefield and I bash you head in with a hammer, do I get a "point" for that? :)

But that being said, we can re-evaluate the battle system after the event is over. Core of the event is the drafting process, so whatever battle system it uses, is almost irrelevant.
