That 2nd deck should have totally won.

Even the mighty must fall some time........
Game #1:
I went stall after looking at their cards and seeing what stalling potential they had by themselves. So, why not beat a stall with a better stall. I had a slow start some gnomes and no fire pillars at all, he didn't play much of anything either. He dropped an arsenic and fire shield to rid of my gnome, I dropped a bonewall to counter the flow of poison. We went on he dropped 2 graviton fire eaters which I plagued (fear of fractal) and procceded to bolt to death to keep my bonewall up. I got to about 50 health and dropped 3 SS, he concided.

Game #2:
I figured he would go with another stall, but this time I didn't feel like waiting. So I went with more of a rush style, I saw air pends and aether pillars and knew it was fractal sky dragons. I tried to last as long as possible, but with the amount of CC he had and such quick damsflies he killed me with an army of the little buggers. (19?)

Game #3:
I figured since that deck worked so well for him last time why wouldn't he use it again,  but I was prepared this time. We got in game and he got 1 aether pend for 10~ turns straight and killed off 1 dragon with a lightning. He never got another pilllar till those 10 turns were up, he was unable to do anything at all. EM win :D

Game #4:
I don't know what I expected here, but I changed it up a bit. He played novas + scarab and arsenic. He got 3 novas and a scarab + arsenic in his opening hand, I tried to stall him out with plaguing his little scarab army and keeping my toadfishes up to a max. He ate all my fish :( And then killed off my bonewall with his army of scarabs.

Game #5:
I knew he was gonna play that scarab rush again, so I went to counter it. I got 1 water pillar, no trident, and lots of stone pillars in my opening hand. I waited praying for a trident/BH to deny anything he could play. I got what I wanted, 1 toadfish up, 1 trident and some SS to keep my health under control. He tried to surprise fractal me with his scarabs, but I kept BHing him to keep his quantum down and keep my health up. I got to around 30 hp and SS'd twice to keep myself alive, I then started drawing water pillars like crazy and got 3 toadfish up and running along with a gnome. He sundialed to keep himself strong, but I topdecked a SS and kept it going 1 more turn. He sundial'd again for the last time off a nova and I topdecked my 3rd BH to heal up and kill him next turn so he couldn't sundial again.

Nothing Scauduro could have done vs dim shield chains... Feels bad to win this lame :(

Match 1: WIN

The closest of all matches. Started out really slow with some parasites and one phase dragon. Scauduro did great pumping up his bonewell by infecting his own creatures. It didn't stall me enough though since Phase Dragons started filling my field. Discord entered mid game and did pretty much nothing...

Match 2: WIN

Another Dim. Shield win. Same as previous match except there was literally nothign Scauduro was able to do this time. His 2nd deck did some more damage though but nothing dim shields couldn't handle. We desynched but both me and my AI managed to win the match easily. Discord didn't do anything again! (gave the killing blow in my match though)

Match 3: WIN

Yes, I really am this lame. I don't think I have to explain how this match went and what the result was. Only problem was we desynched again and my AI can't play this deck . (wastes all drains and starts the dim shield chain to early) Scauduro was a gentleman however and gave me the match. I obviously won my match vs the AI, see screenie in the spoiler.

Saved much more quanta then was needed to avoid discussion.
Good games Scauduro! It's sad that Draft events always result in match-ups like these. What are you gonna do without PC....

Re: (Team B) Jappert 3 - (Team F) Scauduro221095 0 https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=26238.msg335535#msg335535

Like Jappert said i had no hope against his cards. He won the first two with simple aether, and as i didnt have any pc available i lost. But then Jappert got bored and mixed it up a little, but there was a desynch. The deck i had chosen couldnt beat him so i gave the game to Jappert. GG's Japert.

Deck 1:

i chose this deck because a lot of his creatures have a higher attack than hp so it looked like a good choice, and i also thought well if he goes the aether way theres not much i can do. I ended up losing quite badly and in an attempt to survive i killed off all my creatures for my bonewalls. (didnt work :P)

Deck 2:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

I figured he would go straight back to the same deck for another easy win and i tried to stall him. It didnt work, as he had a very good draw and got the dragons out quickly enough that i couldnt get the earth quanta needed for the stone skins.

Deck 3:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink

When he told me that it was lame winning so boringly i was like YES!!! but then he came out with quanta denial deck....with aether shields. I hadnt planned on him going from one deck of aether shields to another so i didnt stand a chance.
