Why I would make a good War team member                                                             
I love this game, I am a card player.  I am very competitive, log on at least once a day, and am very creative.  I am new to war but any team that gets me will be glad they did.  I have been waiting for war to start for a while and am very excited to get a chance.

I just wanted to add that I really don't care what team I end on, I just want a chance.  I am very innovative and usually add brilliance to any conversation.  I have been playing cards since I started playing Magic in 1998, and am very experienced in deckbuilding, meta-gaming, and am just competitive.

started in '98 too
pretty sure thats when tempest/urzas block is standard because i recall buying my first precon (green/red echo lightning dragon/argothian wurm/wildfire...super awesome deck) and getting stomped by dominator (sparked my long time hatred for anything blue)
no doubt a lot of peeps came here looking for something similar to magic

edit: my bad...lightning drag was the prelease promo card that i got from joining the prerelease event...the first actual foil promo

Yeah tempest/urza's was standard I think.  I just started then, but didn't start playing tourneys til the last week sixth was standard.  The only time I ever got to armageddon :(

I have started getting out of magic too.  I really hate the mythics thing, and I got four Jace and Primevals and crap.  I just hate it, it kills creativity when any deck you make without Jace or whatever is strictly inferior.

I haven't played Magic since about 2002 when I left high school.  Got into Yu-Gi-Oh...terrible idea.

Yu-Gi-Oh was a terrible idea pokemon and MTG is where its at :D Yu-Gi-Oh just made me miss all the creatures i had to sacrafice to make bigger badder ones :P
