If you've read this: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,36141.0.html and think it's good...
Think again.

Phalanx - now with real spearmen instead of golems!

Mummy+SoR+Rewind fans should get what I mean here. SoRs can be used either on pharaohs or firemasters. Never use it on scarabs unless you really need to devour a lot! (e.g. a board of fractal'd RoLs) You got the gravity mark this time.

Credit goes to Calindu for helping me out to complete the idea. Without him this is gonna have major quanta issues...

Oh wow this is fast. A pharaoh and four scarabs on the very first turn. You do not know how satisfying that feels. My only complaint is that I'd like mroe quanta (especially fire and time). If you don't draw one of those novas early, you're quite handlocked.

Phalanx Mk. II?
Seems good. How is it compared to the previous "generation"?

Use SoRs on graviton firemasters and laugh at diamond shields  :P

A bit more stable, lose some speed though. More all-rounded too.

The quanta is OK, as you tend to enter a zero-quanta phase in the middle of the game. For instance, a SoR'd pharaoh and a SoR's graviton firemaster makes you golden even you don't receive any more quanta cards. You just need to get the momentum.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.

Did 50 games - 19 of them I lost cause of either no mana to play mummy (didn't draw pillars/pends/mana denied/pillars destroyed) or no rewind and hand clogged with useless SoRs.

Either I'm quite unlucky or this deck ain't that stable...

PS. Overall ~35% win rate vs. gold league.

No... I'm having way higher winrate in gold. I usually win 2-3 matches before I break the win streak. From my experience, it has at least 50%...
Also, this kind of decks are usually less stable, but is superb when you can pull the combo off...
It actually involves some skills for quanta management and card playing. SoRs are never useless. You can spam 2 more scarabs for one SoR, or turn your firemaster into a unstoppable monster. Use them on scarabs in case of emergency. Sometimes I devour my own scarabs to make up the hp to devour opponent creatures (e.g. dragons).
Also, everyone has a different playstyle for mummy SoR rewind decks.

As this is a fun deck to play with, a bit lower winrate doesn't matter. If you want really high winrates, try boring SNBows... although SoSe might make it a bit more fun. Remember, games are for fun.
