I've assumed that the transformation effect is passive, like Mummy's passive. The 'Freeze' effect is the active ability of the Ice Golem.

maybe adding a "turns to water golem if targeted with Firebolt" ability to Ice Golem??

nice idea there! maybe implement it? 'Ice golem turns back into water golem if targeted by a Fire spell' (e.g. RoF and Firebolt)

um . . . ice golem has 3 hp, so wouldn't RoF/fire lance kill it, and in turn turn it into water golem?

Let's not make this card more complicated than it needs to be, all right? Melting when targeted by Fire spells makes sense, but it's not really necessary.

yeah ok, maybe not melt it but fire spells an insta kill on the frozen one? like even if it's blessed etc?

The only thing I don't like about this card is the fact that Ice Golem can freeze creatures. This card would make Arctic Squid completely obsolete, and that's never a good thing. Maybe Ice Golem could freeze a creature for one single turn. That might be a little more appropriate ...
