creating a +|+ 'creature' is what makes it a spell, not a creature.  if it were a creature PU would make a 6|10 creature to be absorbed, not a +|+ 'creature.  im never going to agree with you, so you can stop trying whenever you feel like it. zanz himself could come here and say "i intended it to be a creature" and i'd tell him it acted more like a spell than a creature.

back to the actual topic, i think you could name it amorphous mimic or something along those lines as a better fit

Whew, that was a long discussion! 
Anyway, i think that the problem of the Chimera is a programming thing, and if ever necessary, Zanzarino will deal with it.

Consider that those 3 natural counters are barely used as well. Spark is often sacrificed to summon better creatres, malignant cells come from the costly aflatoxin which doesn't see much use, and Chimera is barely seen.

Well, maybe not mainstream cards, but they exist, and they're counters.

Name proposal until now are:

• Unstable Clone
• Unstable Shapeshifter
• Deranged Doppelganger
• Chamaleontic Flesh
• Amorphous Mimic

I'm waiting for more suggestions, maybe i should open a poll.

But I'm confused about the OP's example of Deja Vu. It says you get 2 unstable clones, but wouldn't it be like so:

- You play Unstable Clone.

- You then play a Deja Vu.

- Unstable Clone becomes a Deja Vu with mimic.

- Your next turn (opponent didn't play any creatures) you use Deja Vu ability of Dejavu; Unstable clone becomes dejavu without dejavu ability.
oops. Now I realize how deja vu works with this.

This card is really random, so i cannot think another element other than  . And after discovering that Chimera is its nemesis, i think that the element is chosen.

I like the idea.

The way it interacts with DejaVu is really twisted!  I like it!

Before I comment on the card, I have to bring this up:

i think of it as a spell because it melds all creatures together into one, +|+ being the atk|hp basically seals the deal to me.

So having attack/defense with variables instead of having a spell symbol makes it a spell to you? Oh the irony.

Now, about the card itself. I love the interaction with many cards in the game, and I do think it's balanced as is, although +1 cost certainly wouldn't hurt any.

Does Mimic copy passive abilities as well?
