On a sidenote, perhaps the upped version should be called something like Selfish Sadism, fits a bit more thematically than generic 'improved' and makes sense in the card context.

Sounds like a cool card that has some really nasty combos without being rediculously overpowered. I really like it.

The cost probably needs work though. My suggestion is 2 to activate and then 2 per turn drain, similar to flooding. This seems like a fairer amount, and really fits the sadism tone.

I'd like to see Sadism heal player when they damage OPPONENT creatures.
Then you can make a Masochism card that does something related to your creatures.

Anyway i like the mechanic.

Pair this with a von upgrade vodoo doll,  4 basilic blood, gravity pull, you have a game winning card, AND you could win with mastery every time. Idk, a tad bit overpowered.

For oEtG meta, its fairly useful.
It is pretty effective with voodoo pull, armagio, and grav defenders.

Its only a 1 cost so its very splashable as well.

I often try to stick it into most of my grav decks that use pull in any way shape or form. Often this is very doable thanks to the locket+inertia combo which makes splashing low cost abilities and spells much much easier.

SoFo pull is a real beast with it too.

Essentially, GPull turns into a speed regen spell. Particularly if you have multiple copies of this card in play.

Its a very neat card. Surprisingly, not as OP as first thought it would be. I think it could make a useful addition to standard EtG as well.
