Just curious, would the existence of this card rule out the need for regular pillars? Quantum pillars of course would still be viable for rainbows and pendulums would cover duos. If you had these they would be just as good in a mono as pillars would be, and more efficient for trios and quartets. I think pillars would end up only serving the purpose of pendulums in mono decks (to avoid EQ and trident). I dunno, just my thought.
Makers | Factories would be permanents like others, so you can only use 6 of them.
Also, these wouldn't stack, so they take permanent slots that may be useful to you.
It's true that in mono, if you don't need any duo quanta, pillars and makers|factories behave exactly the same.
But i was thinking that there is another difference: if an opponent steals your pillar, he gets the quanta according the pillar type, and it may be useless to him.
If he steals a maker|factory, he gets a quanta matching his mark plus the ability to produce another one.
Differences are subtle but they exist.
