NOTES:
First of all, if you ask me where I got the image from, I will kill you horribly, then brand this image on your chest like an Illuminati. I drew the image myself, then edited it; it took me 10 hours or something. You can learn more about the art here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6797.0.html).
Now, for the card itself. This card essentially reduces the 12 elements in the game to 6 elements. :fire :water will become one single element, :light :darkness will become one single element, etc. I know, this card is game-breaking, but I'm using my first real piece of art so it deserves something game-breaking.

When this card is on the field, you can use :death to pay for :life quanta, use :entropy for Otyugh's devouring ability, etc. If you have 10 :fire and 5 :water, Fire Bolt will think that you have 15 :fire and Ice Bolt will think that you have 15 :water.
When using an Advanced Spell (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5696.0.html), such as Miracle, all your :light :darkness are consumed, since :light :darkness is the same element now.

Quanta of two opposite elements are consumed randomly. For example, if you have 5 :light and 5 :darkness, and you play Dusk Mantle which costs 6 :darkness, you may lose 3 :light 3 :darkness, 1 :light 5 :darkness, 4 :light 2 :darkness, or any other combinations of :light :darkness.

Quanta-producing cards behave normally. For example, Ray of Light produces only :light, even though :light :darkness is the same element now.

Note that this does not only apply to quanta. For example, Nightfall and Holy Light now affect Light and Life creatures as well; Fire creatures are now safe from Flooding. In the case of Holy Light, it deals damage to :darkness :death :light :life and heals everything else.

With Duality, Hope does NOT count Devourers. This is because Devourer is not a "dark-emitting creature"; its ability is passive. For a creature to count for Hope, it must generate :darkness.

Saw your art way earlier. I think this is an interesting implementation of it.

This would make duo decks very viable. Unfortunately it would probably benefit Rainbow decks 6 times as much... Oh well rainbow is always taking the advantage...

Or it could do just the opposite. It could make people lean away from them, because a duo deck can use 4 elements, and a trio deck (which is usually the limit before people decide to start using quantum towers) would be able to use up to 6 cards. With supernova, it would show the most of its strength. But I doubt OP. Just a question

If I have 5 :darkness and 5 :light and I play a creature that costs 6 :darkness, what will happen? Will I either
A)lose 5 :darkness and 1  :light
B)Lose 3 :darkness and 3 :light, or
C)Lose a random amount of both until it =6?

Im guessing C, but I just want to make sure.

C. They're consumed randomly. Perhaps I should clarify in the original post.

Most people would just assume it, I just wanted to make sure, so its probably not necessary, but it also would hurt i suppose either.

So my thoughts on the card. I love the effect, very original, very fun, and I would say 9/10
However, I wouldnt like it if this card got into the actual game, just because it completely reworks the whole concept of the game. But, I vote that this is a good card anyways, because the cards we make probably arent going to be in the game anyways.

I love this new card.

One question: Shouldn't the upgraded version cost less than the unupped?

No because the effect is improved which usually means either cost increase or the same cost (you may not have noticed but the upped version means it only applies to you.

i like it, it inspires people to make opposite duo decks, such as  :air/ :earth.

The cost of the upgraded should be slightly higher, like maybe 12.

i feel that it could be somewhat overpowered, especially seeing the new steam machine card coming out.

there aren't many opposing element-synergic card yet, but i feel like (starting from steam machine), zanz will make more.

but a very innovative idea, i should say.
