Here is basically my idea for a nymph tears deck.  The dragons are basically there in case of reflective or emerald shield, so it is not absolutely dead.  They are not absolutely necessary.  This is also a good deck considering perv's point about not being able to salvage many air cards.  It uses only 4 air cards that are not pendulums and those air cards could be almost any air cards if necessary.  It would be good against decks that use antimatter and little other creature control since the nymph is very fragile.  This is just an idea I had and I will not be offended if we decide not to salvage the cards required to make it.

We should note for latter that the  :life deck I was facing actually also didn't had any perm control, which in the end made this game a win  :P
Yea, but that was still against Wings :)

I also tried different  :fire combos yesterday but none of those wasn't good enough.

hah, Truddy I like this one a lot :) Maybe few Damselflies are good there. But I'm not sure how effective this deck could be. Edited: yea, I like it but it is too slow... I mean, the idea is brilliant, but success depens on too many things: Cremation in right time, Tears in right time, no cc by opponent, no pc from opponent. And probably it will be just outrushed.

Ok, before the Chum's fight, I'll post my thoughts about salvaging/discarding.

1. 2 Heals and 4 Life Pendulums. Also there may be possibilites to double Queen decks at certain point.

2. 6 Chaos Seeds. Well, just making  :entropy decks more flexible and taking spome chaotic cc there :)

3. 3 Devourers. We are quite close for having 3d  :darkness deck already.
2 Purple Dragons. Obviously needed hitters for  :entropy decks.
4 Entropy Pendulums. We just need them.

4. 3 Lightnings. The start of the second  :aether deck. Phase Shield already waiting  in Vault.
    4 Quintessences. Continues previous process.
    1 Dimensional Shield.
    1 Lobo

5. 4 Phoenixes
2 Immolation . There is just nothing better. We don't need any Gravity Pulls more. There is like 10 of them in the Vault.
3 Deflags ( well, the 12th already in Vault)

6.  5 Amethyst Pillars. Now there is  3  :entropy Pendulums for each deck. Should be enough.
     1 Purple Dragon

7.  3 Dimensional Shields. Just crazy. Should we start building  our 3d  :aether deck already?
     3 Quintessences. Seems so.

Discarding: Ok, Holy Light fans, 3 of them should go and now! They supposed to be our creature control there but were useless even against  :darkness. I stupidly put them there instead of Owls and Schockwave which were there originally.  Let's discard also 1 Heal (we just won 2) and 2 Queens and try to make the second Queen deck if possible by taking 2 more if we win propaganda things.

Discarding from Chum'd decks: Earthquakes

Also taking card as propaganda bonus: 1 Miracle, 1 Dusk, 1 Hope (for firefly-hope thing) 2 Firefly Queens, 3 Azure Dragons, 3 Black Dragons  (yay, the  3d :darkness deck is there), 1 Animate weapon.

And I'll start converting cards as soon as possible, because there is not many  :air Pendulums/Pillars in Vault.

The Owls are not what they seem.

For unstable gas decks, I think this might be one of the best:

Code: [Select]
5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oi 5oi 5oi 5ol 5ol 5ol 5ol 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5pu 5pu
Pretty standard but with good reason.

Agree, but let's play those if we have to risk with  :air cards and when they are convinced that we don't have Unstable gas :) Shortly, lets save this for the better times.

Just edited the first page with Perv suggestions.
Before these modification are applied to the vault we still need to decide 6 discards from chum's deck :

Code: [Select]
591 591 591 593 593 593 593 593 593 595 595 595 5oe 5oe 5of 5of 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu
edit: I putted the cards we get from bonus under "Penalties" with a "+"

I just made small changes there; changed amount of  :entropy Pillars to 9 and discarded Earthquakes. Still, all this must be overchecked before putting changes into Vault. And we have to wait a bit with this propaganda thing, that is not decided yet.

Yep sure, I'm not touching the vault anyway. Just wanted to facilitate things for everyone by having an overview already on first page :)

Perv, are you planning on getting a replacement player for tomatoman before next round starts?  If so we should probably figure the 6 card cost in as well.

Edit:  I also just noticed from another post here http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14512.0.html [nofollow] that all only the very first converting should be in this topic and all the salvaging and discarding should be in round 2 - salvaging, discarding, penalties, and converting.

2. There is no salvaging, discarding or penalties during round 1 so that topic would only contain converting (if there is any). "Round 2 - Salvaging, Discarding, Penalties and Converting" will have all four.

Thanks Truddy, I somehow missed that. Yes, salvage topic for first round should contain only convertion then.

And we have new player already :) . Now there should be a 6-card Penalty in the spreadheet. That probably means that we can just salvage  6 cards less in the next round.

Edit: or is there only 3-card Penalty now? I'm a bit confused, but let's trust this spreadsheet. Maybe we got small bonus and Istari's substitution - penalty wasn't taken into account, because that would mean overall 9-card penalty for that others has been doing for free some time ago (replacing a missing player).

Great to hear see we have a new member in the team. Hope he stays with us.  Btw pervepic, did you have to replace tomatoman with a rookie that cost 6 cards or could you just take any player for that prize? I remember we talked something about that, and neither you nor myself knew if you could replace rookie with a player of any status.

I didn't ask about this but it doesn't really matter; I was interested only if a person himself wants to join and Glowing Ice has shown that he wants. But yes, I think that they assumed that rookie should be replaced with the rookie.

So I was in chat the other day waiting for the Halloween Eastern Tournament to begin ...

[04:44:41] home_wreckaz: Oh, ex team air rookie wants me to pass message saying he's sorry lol, he thought the duel was supposed to happen on the 1st day and he missed it.
[04:44:49] home_wreckaz: Then said he felt too ashamed to come back. @@
[04:45:28] chum3: heh, you can tell the rookie to come back ;P
[04:46:09] home_wreckaz: Lol chum, he's probably not coming back, he's playing some other kongregate games now. xD
[04:46:15] home_wreckaz: I told him he's replaced already.
