Worst change ever. I never liked the fact that immortal creatures were affected by fire shield, and then they increased that by adding thorn carapace.

And now our protected pernaments aren't safe anymore? Zanz may possibly be going to add a card that insta-desroys anything that has been quintessenced or protect artifacted if this continues...

Yes and Protected weapons can currently only be frozen by a Voodoo Doll; Ice Bolt can NOT directly freeze Immaterial weapons.  If someone wants to run a trio just for the sake of destroying protected weapons, then let them; it's not anywhere near game breaking in the least.

This should be with freeze/ice bolt, otherwise lightning is better
