The only advice I can give as to the deck building phase of this round is making mine a cc-based deck, focusing little on pc.  I can almost promise you they will go heavy creatures.

That, or give me DS's and a bunch of pc.  One or the other, really.

Cya all in a few days.

After some thinking, I have decided to counter life with fractal devourer so I am requesting it if it´s possible.
Life ussually doesn't use many CC cards (if any), and they will probably expect some immortal creatures so I don't think they will bother with CC.
They will probably try creature swarm like FQ which I can counter with quanta lock. The other deck I consider dangerous is adrenalined graboids, which would be harder for me but if I can fractal vampire just once, I think I could win vs that deck.
Also fractal / devourer have steal cards to counter empathic bonds, fog shields ( I see they like to use them very often ), and maybe some druidic staffs they might use.
So update my deck with fractal/devourers if possible- I will do some more testing against speed life decks to test if I can stop them.
Dragoon version of this deck if possible, tnx.

Code: [Select]
5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 5uq 5uq 5ut 5ut 5ut 61q 61q 61q 61u 622 622 622 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a

Just a suggestion for Dragoons deck :

Code: [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 620 620 620 620Lightnings to counter their hitters , 5 shields to stall, enough dmg to kill them.
I think quanta production is also good- I havent really tested it yet

Well that is just an idea ,If someone has better  please post it bcs Dragoon is unable to make  his deck this round.
He said that he wants CC based deck, but we don't have any cards besides lightnings, bolts or some arctic squids for CC.
So if someone wants to help, try to make fire/aether or water/aether deck with enough CC to stop air heavy hitters.
They might even go for some flying discords or titans , so keep that in mind too.

I am not sure this deck is a good idea vs life. I think that you need some sort of PC because there is a very big chance that they will pack some empatic bonds which will be auto ragequit for you.
Only if you have super fast deck you might have chance against EB, but this deck doesnt look like it_ I don't know, I might be wrong but you should test it against deck with 4-5 bonds in it, and see how it goes.

im thinking fractal'd phoenix for dragoon...  he says he will definitely be here in time for duel so we can use upped phoenixes.  and if they get killed, he can use that rebirth skill.

maybe ICB's deck from last round but with lightnings

I'm thinking about an :aether :earth deck to protect my Pillars and crush :water's Pillars.
EQ +/- EA would be a good idea.  Water is almost as slow as aether in creature development, and the icebolts require lots of quanta to be lethal.  A decent EQ deck would have embarrassed Essence first round, so I like the idea.  If we have them would use at least 4 EQs.

They've gone :fire/ :water twice now with phoenix/steam machine:
Essence 1st round (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14630.0.html)
wavedash 2nd round (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,15091.msg205735#msg205735)
And I'm tempted to think they won't go poison on us after seeing how well we've handled poison so far (mrpaper's match (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14764.0.html))

Not optimized, but something like this (maybe 1 fewer shield):
Code: [Select]
592 592 592 593 593 593 593 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a
