A lot of the other Nymphs already have a lower ability cost, and even got recent changes. Even when ignoring that, Anubis costs 2 -> 1, whereas this Nymph doesn't change at all. I've never understood the stats, nor why it's the
only Nymph sharing an ability with a common creature
and being outdone by it as well.
Either way, would an ability cost reduction change anything? Anubis would still cost one less when upped, and it's duo to boot. That means less of a quanta load on Time and Aether. As we know, there's nothing worth continually Quinting in Monoaether, so that leaves us to duo with another element with Aether. Anubis is even a better Fractal target if you want to consider decks like Eternal Concordance. Sure, both are overshadowed by the spell Quintessence, but at least it's possible to continuously Quint in the game. I just really don't understand why a common does it better than a super-rare.
Anyway, more arguments here:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,10275.0.htmlChanging Anubis is the only real and rational solution as I see it. There are many options brought to light in the aforementioned thread.
