Well, I was expecting Firestall to come out this game... So played my Firestall counter - against DBH >.< D'oh! But then I won toss, drew fairly nice quanta, and got PhaSoR combo going before late-ish Disco came out. The key was definitely getting Pharaoh (and SoR, somewhat) out before Discord.

Result: No more BH's rest of the match... now what to do with my DBH counter?!?

(Packed the upgraded quanta into the build just in case it wasn't Firestall... good idea 24-hours-ago-me!)

Turns out DBH is gone so now I _really_ REALLY expected Johnnington to come to the field. I needed to play my Firestall counter again... so I did (probably should have gone Air-FailMark given that was the mark of my DBH counter and in hindsight I really wanted to play Mono-entropy D*ck 2.0 in game 5 ).

The firestall counter countered (I was a bit concerned early/mid-game that enough healing would be present that Gb4by could save Bolts for lethal since I was somewhat sure no Deflag would allow me win by deckout if I had too using Eternity-cycling... but the bolts came out against my Pharaoh#1 and I breathed again).

I don't remember what I was expecting to face... but I know I didn't expect to draw only 1x Dev in 15 cards. I couldn't generate the Dark quanta needed to play the Vampire-fractal I had going. It was a pretty strong rush from Gb4by's mono-fire too, well-played.

Brought the DBH-counter in order to counter an expected Discord-mono. Instead, kept the wings in-hand (until lethal turn, for fun) and pushed the Sky-n-Eye damage for the win.

Gb4by drew FIVE AM's during course of this game... FIVE! Which had me, admittedly, a tad enraged inside losing to the whittling of Micros+Disco and 5-Antimatters.

Then as I'm preparing my post-match summary post I tried to find where I used Darkness mark in the match and I hadn't... my game 5 was an illegal second-use of Entropy. Suddenly, a bit Ok with losing it that way so I was not upset at myself for dERp-ing.

I'm proving to be a very middling 12 Lives'er... 2-3 3-2 3-2 3-2!

Should have used sofree. Was very close to win but asdw saved himself with a Miracle. He had around 20 hps that time, so I held those 2 shockwaves in vain. Stupid Sky Blitz come to late, until then he established his stall. The operational level of his Perma shield was wondrous. Btw, had to restart because of dc - I had a worse hand in the 1st try.

Had a really bad draw, was low on quanta. Since he played devs, this didn't bode well. My panda left alive 2 of his devs. I was reluctant playing Discord because of Steal. So I played it later, but didn't change much. The only Black Dragon slowly ate my hp away, and that Nightmare didn't help either.

Antimatters mattered. Put the first one on an Azure Dragon while he hadn't any sofrees. My 2nd try was blocked by the 25% chance of the 1st sofree. 3rd try worked (against 1 or 2 sofrees), and miraculously the 4th try worked against the odds (3 sofrees). Talking about miracles, still had to use one close to the end-game, since he played a sky blitz, and another in the penultimate round - just to be sure.

We kinda surprised each other with our choice of deck. I wasn't sure if he will play devs again (devtal), so I used a Skull Shield version. Sadly, I made a huge error which proved fatal. Normally I double check my decks, but it seems that 5 hours of sleep wasn't enough. I swapped one Skull Shield to Buckler, and meanwhile one AM to Pandemonium. Or I thought so. I dearly missed my Arsenic through the game. "Damn! I had 2 Arsenics in the deck!" - I thought. After the match I realized that I misclicked the Skull Shield and threw out an Arsenic instead of that... :-( Still, it was a very narrow win for asdw. Also didn't get the AM.
