Well, it felt like I couldn't lose in this situation, which is precisely what made me anxious... so I built a mono-aether deck I felt 99% sure could beat anything mono-water. and....... ... .... ... ....

So I knew Dims could stop all but Ice Bolt damage, and that Ice Bolt kind of sucks... I had opening hand Dim which sometimes is tempting to auto-drop ASAP, however I held it until it felt almost a little dangerous to get lower on HP. Good thing because I drew one more Dim and it ran out turn I won with 4x Dims in my bottom 14 cards! Good game www3, you gave it the best shot possible, really.
Entropy-mark was JUST IN CASE RNG went screwy and I lost first time I could come back with basically identical deck and Aether Mark for Round 11... almost came to that but the draw worked out.
What a fun time I had
again in this event! It was fun last time despite the tragic ending (for me) and this time it was great too, complete with VICTORY instead of runner-up-ness.
Thanks ian for hosting and thanks to all who participated, I really enjoyed getting my PVP feet wet again ahead of 12th Trials.
