Lol, Nensuru had a really bad start in 12lives, however he studied his opponents, learnt a lot and made wiser decisions, so he is now a really worthy opponent (better not to mess with him :P). Excellent work, Nensuru! :D

Monogravy is really slow unupped, so nils had 2 options, stall me out with magios and oty's, or rush me with chargers, titan, and maybe some guards.  OE made sure I could handle chargers and Oty's, and UG is very good at getting past magios.  Very good matchup for air.  We both got 2 quanta draws, I got a 2nd turn OE to his 2nd turn Oty, had the game from then on.  Sorry to knock you out  :(

When I was testing this, I realized that it wasn't losing, so I went and kind of recorded some stats.  Won atleast 52 games (low end of the estimate before I was recording), and lost twice, both times to the fire/water ai3.  First time I had no OE or Fireflies 8 turns in when I died (drew OE turn before).  Next time was an early permafrost, which froze 4/5 creatures (including only nymph on field before I could gas), then the next turn, froze the remaining firefly and the other nymph I drew.  Also no OE.

Wasn't expecting Seraphs really. I've got plenty of Dims and GPull'd Robots to stop the damage while hitting with an overdriven one.

yes yes I be lame here. Got the Nymph out as the first creature, and drolly didn't kill it. Derps from drolly cost him the game.

Now I am sorry, but :gravity has to go.
Trading :gravity with :death.
Lives remaining: :aether :death

What I definitely learnt this round was that I can be very bad at deckbuilding especially when it comes to elements with which I'm not that much experienced. Looking at our marks, it became clear to me that Vineroz's were definitely the better ones because they just allowed for so many stallbreakers. This cancelled out FireSancStall as a possible deck, what had been my primary reason for choosing the :fire :light combination.

Game 1: Loss.

Expected either accelerated twin Armagios or Fractal Chargers, had to face one accelerated quinted Armagio, well. Planned to outrush him, given that :gravity and :aether are rather quanta-intensive. The great problem was my crappy 2-pillar start. Once the Silence and Gravity Pull chain was out, it was clear who would win.

Game 2: Loss.

I was very sure that he would make use of heavy critters again so I didn't include any Ragepots. Mono Aether rush caught me offguard. First I didn't want to bolt his nymph and hope that I could withstand the damage long enough. Then I bolted his recluse and enabled him to win by one turn, I think. What could have been:
  • Not bolting the recluse would have resulted in four bolts in the final hand, enough to defeat him in the last turn.
  • Bolting the recluse and deflagging his lobo would have given me one more turn to defeat him with only three bolts left. But I was afraid of Dims.
  • Bolting the nymph as soon as possible would have saved me from 35 damage and I would have had all time in the world to accumulate the quanta needed for the 3 other bolts I topdecked during the game.
Conclusion: I can't play Mono Fire; does anyone offer a seminar on that?

Good games, Vineroz, and good luck during the upcoming rounds! You've shown me once again that you're one of the best PvPers. *happily retires*
