No problem, just keep them coming if you have more. Saves me some time because I haven't looked at the shields yet. :)

Hm... Some half-formed ideas that others can build on.

:light: Photon + Luciferin = Hope
:gravity Armagio + Gravity Pull = Gravity Shield
:death Skull Shield + Boneyard = Bone Wall
:time Sundial + Basilisk Blood? = Procrastination
:life Forest Scorpion + ? = Thorn Carapace
 :water Freeze + ? = Ice Shield
 :aether Immortal + ? = Dimensional Shield
The dogs of war are nothing compared to the cats.

I like where you guys are going with this, but I don't really understand the part where you use other shields to craft these shields. ???

I updated the first post. I personally think that it's looking pretty good.

All shields are built using Relic + 2 non-rare cards. I tried to use permanent + spell as much as possible, but other combos are there too.

I tried to avoid using creatures as much as possible because I think "killing" creatures for crafting purposes is a bit weird, unless it's a Skeleton or something.

If you have ideas for improvement, let me know. I'm looking for things that make sense logically.

I also like combinations where the graphics fit.

As for what you already have, I think both Solar and Reflective Shields should be freebies and have Hope be the shield to craft.  Maybe Reflective Shield + Holy Light.

As for logical, I think everyone's ideas has a certain logic to it, it's just a different kind of logic.  We all, to a certain extent, think a little differently than each other.  For instance, killing creatures isn't weird or illogical when you think of it like you need a certain special part of that creature (ie the scales of a dragon or the poison from a scorpion).

But here's another thing to consider with all of these crafting things, do we want to make everything exactly symmetrical or can we have asymmetry with some things being done a little differently because they make more "sense" or are more "logical" or even because it's a good way to give a buff or nerf to certain cards/elements?

Yes, I agree. That's why I used Forest Scorpion for :life. You take the poison and get the shield. Fits perfectly. But when you start doing things like using Wyrm to make Wings, it gets a bit more "evil" I think because we are not taking about small scorpions anymore. This "murdering" aspect is why I wanted to use non-creatures as little as possible.

Ah.. Hope. Yes, I forgot about that one. Too bad because Reflective Shield fit perfectly. I added Hope but used Photon because of the whole :light emitting thing.

Certain level of asymmetry is possible, yes. For example I might increase the number of Skeletons needed for Bone Shield, because :death has a skill that gives them Skeletons, and it would make more sense for Bone Shield to consist of at least 3 Skeletons.

At this point though I went with symmetry. I think it's better to do that first and then see where were are. When everything is ready, it's easier to do small tweaks.

It seems better when you have to use two different cards for crafting, isn't it? Because all other elements use two different cards, except  :death . I prefer for  :death Skeleton + Boneyard = Bone Wall.

I think the unupped Reflective Shield is one the weakest shields in the game, instead Hope should the result of crafting a :light shield.
