WAR #8 R12
Two armies face off. Each has been in a commanding position, and each has lost it to the other before. Each has proven that it is worthy of this battlefield. But only one can survive to the end...
Deckbuilding
Duel phase has started
Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. All team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat.

All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which, editing decks is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.

Fighting ends!
Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends.

PM your opponent and try to find a suitable time. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, please contact Warmasters--deuce22, CuCN, and serprex--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and flexible.

Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round.

Please make sure to record your duels as shown in the Rules:
(Air Gen) KingKiller 3 - 1 (Water Lt) LordOwner
(Air Sld) KingKiller 3 - 1 LordOwner (Water Gen)
(Air Lt) KingKiller 3 - 1 (Water Sld) (Sub) LordOwner

(SUB indicates that someone else played instead of LordOwner)


Event Card

For example, if you use 4 relics on one deck and 6 relics on another, you can have 4 extra upgrades on the third deck without using any more relics.
Reminder: Last round's EC allows salvaging from either the Mechanic's deck or their opponent's, but not a combination. In the vault tool, the opponent's deck has been provided, along with an option to switch the deck to your own.

Up to 5. "Fewest" can be tied, but only one deck is free.

EC is really a weird wording for "Teams may spend 2 relics to give 1 upgrade to each member, rather than 1 relic to give 1 upgrade to a single member"

Going to quote an explanation I gave earlier on EC: X-Y-Z for relics is always X-Y-0 this round, resulting in X-Y-Y upgrades, where X>=Y>=Z

love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.

optimal strategy seems to be to divide all your relics equally between 2 decks.
