Well, looks like I just had the better deck for this matchup: more cards, and the actual possibility to deal massive damage. I have to admit I was a little scared when I saw the air mark, blitzed dragons or air creatures would have ruined me, but luckily it was only wings and Owl's Eye(s) to screw me. He could keep only one Owl's Eye at the time (flown ones were bolted), meaning he needed it early, and I needed not to draw purifies, but that didn't happen.

I have to say, this is the first game ever the healing effect of purify saved me ;)

First game I didn't get lots of water quanta, and not a single tear in the first half of my deck, and by that time he had a quinted owl's eye, so I won by deckout (plain, simple, but really boring).
Second game I started with 3 water pillars, 1 air pendulum and two air pillars, a tear and a bolt. In a couple of turns I drew an immolation, so I decided to take the risk of having my nymph killed, and just go the UG route. It worked, so this game was really quick.

Last turn of first game:

First game was boring, wing stalls on both side.
Second game was faster, thankfully.

Bad deck choice for us, due to the shortage of cards.

Much props to team water with their "thinking out of the box" decks that are working. I am really impressed that water is doing so well and am gladly eating my words about :water being a weaker element in war setting.

I must admit I had nothing to do with this deck.
Told Dic a thousand times his air quanta would be to low to chain wings and create gasses, EQ's would own us, rewinds would owns us. But he wouldn't listen and went testing anyway!

This is the result, great job after all... ;)

Had only 2 EQ, no rewind. More rewinds may have helped me (no deckout/no gases), but our treasury is poor...
