So Vangelios needed the upgrades, so I played strategist this round.

I saw the darkness mark and was reluctant to play the arsenics. I never saw a BW in the entire game. I played some poisons and a phoenix. Burd played some dragons, but fortunatley I always had a bolt with enough quanta to finish them. My lone phoenix and poison damage got him to bolt range, where I finished. 1-0

I figured I should remove the arsenics entirely (although I didn't see a steal in the first game, I suspected it), and instead I put in an extra BW.
Burd played dragonfiles for the first time, and although the FS was specifically added to the base deck to counter them, I fund it unwise to play it when Burd probably has steals. I never saw a BW either, but had enough phoenix and poison damage to get him into the bolt range just in time. I think this was our closest game. 2-0

I went back to the old 30card formula, with extra phoenixes this time. Burd opened with an upped dagger, which made life hard for me for a while, but then I played a BW and 2 phoenixes. He played around my BW very well, playing dragonflies and stealing a BW counter even. Fortunately I had another BW in hand, and always seemed to topdeck a bolt to answer every dragon. I drew and played a third phoenix for the kill- 3-0
Thankyou for the games. I'm afraid this was not a good matchup for your deck, although it has some juicy salvage
