NOTES:
While it may look like a poor man's SoR at first, keep in mind it also can change the ability costs of your opponent's creatures, which could potentially render their abilities useless.  If anything with an "unlimited" ability like Rustler gets targeted with this, it becomes an ability that can only be use once per turn.

I previously had noted that the card would do it "once per turn" directly on the card, but the opinion on inclusion of that part seems to have changed slightly. For now, I will leave it out considering SoR's text.

It now targets permanents as well, which means it also makes a good soft PC.

Yeah, the card should read something like "Target creature's ability cost now costs quanta of your mark. The ability can be used only once per turn".
Do this, and the card is really fine for me!

Also, i was thinking that using this on an enemy creature is (almost) equal to lobotomize it. Really, nice card.

I'd also like to have a mirror card "Desynchronization", sounds like an entropy card. But what Desynchronization should do?
Maybe change the ability randomly?

Another example of a great idea being possibly ruined by 1 card already in the game, tis a tricky world this creating new cards! Sounds like you'll work something out though, would be a shame if not!

I like this card and hope that it gets into the game.  It seems very balanced and is an attractive effect.  It also has the added bonus of adding a solid :aether contender into the mix.

This is just too similar to SoR for me.

The lobotomize effect seems to be the only major use.

SoR is already way better than this card is it cost  3 :rainbow to play and then the skill becomes free.

I guess this could be useful unupped but the upped one will just be competing with the already existing SoR.
