Dragoon1140
NOTES:
Yes, if a pillar is played, it will produce the corresponding quanta.  If Boneyard is played, Changeling will produce Skeletons accordingly.
If the permanent uses an active ability, like Hourglass, than the cost of the ability Morphed unto Changeling would cost its corresponding quanta (ie Morphing an Hourglass would mean that Changeling needs Time quanta to use its ability).
If you activate this ability and do not play a permanent, then Changeling will copy the next permanent the opponent plays.

If there is an ability cost attached to the ability what would it cost? X Darkness? 2 Darkness? Normal cost? free would be a bit OP so I'd assume not.

Since Sundial is on a universal timer, Changeling would be destroyed after one turn, just like the regular Sundial.  The cost of the ability would be according to the permanent (ie if Changeling Morphs into Hourglass, than its ability would cost 1/2 :time).

As stated above, it is according to the cost of the ability on the permanent Morphed.  Morphing a Mind Gate means that Changeling needs :aether to fuel its ability.

That is a huge combo to pull off.  Don't forget that your opponent can stop these with any cc as well, along with Shields.

not really, just would be 10 :entropy 10 :darkness and 9 :aether and 3 random quanta to get 6 SoGs from 3 cards, 5 of the SoGs being creatures with hp high enough to survive thunderstorms and rain of fire.

...except Fahrenheit + this guy is already a trio, and with Adrenaline (which barely does anything when attack is high) it becomes a Quartet.

You are running four different elements at that point, meaning that most rushes should be able to beat that.

I see some good thing from this, and bad things. The SoG/Jade Staff is a problem.Altho I still like the card just think it might need some tweeking. Maybe the unuped one only having 3 HP and the uped having 5 HP. That way the unupgraded can be killed by a rain of fire, and you got to work a little harder to kill the upgraded one.(After all you did pay 1500 points to get it there.)Reduce the ability cost for the upgraded and raise it's casting cost by 1 each,for balanceing.  Just a thought.
