If yes, how DO you choose?

If no, then it's random, and that might be overpowered. (especially in Rainbow!)

Does it change it element corresponding to what you used to pay for it?
And in that regard, does it also gain the buff?

Ah. So it uses 7 quanta of ONE element. Makes sense. I like it a lot :)
If anything, it feels underpowered. In most decks, the card spot and quanta would be better used on another creature instead of existing ones, but I can think of several scenarios where it would be immensely helpful (bringing creatures out of RoF range, for example).

Questions / Comments / Suggestions
Currently the game can't handle various definition costs and being generic the cost will be random and possible more than 1 element type, it would probably be better to link the Monk advisement effect to the players Mark, this way the bonus is defined and as well as less coding can be tracked easily enough in game.
