As suggested by Plastique, Fade ability can be modified like this:

Fade: 50% possibility to avoid danger/devouring and ignore shields effect

Invisibility doesn't remove previous ability, just add Fade...

Waiting for your comments...

Can you walk me through an example of how this works? Let's say you played a dragon and then cast invisibility on it. During my turn I then tried to cast lightning bolt on the oty. Would I:

A) have a 50% chance of not being able to target the dragon that turn.
B) be able to target the dragon normally but there's a 50% chance it won't do any damage.
C) something else.

and how would this affect poison from a parasite or virus? The card text specifies devour and damage, so do status affects come through fine?

You have 50% to simply fail when you try to target a creature with fade.

A.e.

I play a dragon. I cast invisibility on it.

Your turn, you select lightning, then you select my dragon:

50% you hit dragon - 50% nothing happens (and of course your card has been played)

Same things with plague or rain of fire...

You cast RoF, there's a 50% possibility to miss an invisible creature.

Another example, you play an Oty: try to devour my invisible creature...

50% you devour it - 50% nothing happens (and your oty doesn't gain +1 hp, of course)

Does it also effect beneficial spells & abilities such as an angel's healing ability or casting adrenaline on an invisible creature?

Mmmh...really...I don't know. (Epic LOL)

It's just an idea for "new passive ability competition"

I have to think how beneficial effects works...any suggestion?

Well, if it did effect beneficial spells it might come off as a weaker clone of quint, but if you could boost your own creature while it was protected it might become OP . . .

I think I'd go for not blocking beneficial spells/abilities but I need to think on it in case there's any exploitable combos there.

I think it'd be underused because of only 50% chance, plus, it loses it's prevous skill. Although dragons would be a good combo with this card
lava golems are the best creatures in the game cause I said so

Probably the card will be modified as suggested by plastique...

Invisibility: Targeted creature gains Fade and now has 50%possibility to avoid damage/devouring and ignore shield effect

About beneficial effect, I'm still thinking about...
