Can you walk me through an example of how this works? Let's say you played a dragon and then cast invisibility on it. During my turn I then tried to cast lightning bolt on the oty. Would I:
A) have a 50% chance of not being able to target the dragon that turn.
B) be able to target the dragon normally but there's a 50% chance it won't do any damage.
C) something else.
and how would this affect poison from a parasite or virus? The card text specifies devour and damage, so do status affects come through fine?
You have 50% to simply fail when you try to target a creature with fade.
A.e.
I play a dragon. I cast invisibility on it.
Your turn, you select lightning, then you select my dragon:
50% you hit dragon - 50% nothing happens (and of course your card has been played)
Same things with plague or rain of fire...
You cast RoF, there's a 50% possibility to miss an invisible creature.
Another example, you play an Oty: try to devour my invisible creature...
50% you devour it - 50% nothing happens (and your oty doesn't gain +1 hp, of course)
