So this was really a take on combining and together as I find it useful at times to use them both in a duo deck. The Ent card is only available through the Dead Wood card it cannot be found in any other way.

Not the best result but I think the idea bears merit so am happy to post and accept all your words of constructive advice.

I like how it's kinda a play off of phoenix, but will these be two separate cards or will it be like phoenix/ash. Ent/Deadwood would be better than Deadwood/Ent, just like phoenix. It would fit into other decks better if it starts as an Ent



OR.....



you can out reverse time on it, like mummy, and have it turn into an Ent and it could do the whole deadwood cycle

Yes I hadn't thought of the rewind but I thought it was more along the lines of "if a tree dies it becomes dead wood" so did that as the ability.

Ent is not available except through Dead Wood in the same way that you cannot buy Ash. But it has a cost incase it is rewound.

The Dead Wood is the only card available in my thinking but the suggestion has been made to have the Ent available instead. The idea is that only one of these is available to purchase, the other you can only get through activation of the card.

It would make more sense if the Ent was available as a standalone instead of Dead Wood because everything has to be alive before it can be dead.

thats kinda what i meant with my post, it either goes from life to death (ent to deadwood) or rewind like mummy (death to "life")

True good suggestion. Maybe I should start a poll but not really at this stage.

So far the suggestion is as follows:

1. Make Dead Wood a card
2. Make Ent available in Bazaar and Dead Wood not.

These I can agree with.

I personally think you should have Dead Wood be left as Darkness, because it reminds me more of a haunted forest then of a decaying tree, since it's a dead Ent.

I also think that you should keep Dead Wood as the card in the bazaar, because the point of the card is to bring it back to life as an Ent. With an Ent, you're looking at "Oh, I hope it doesn't die, but at least if it does, it'll be alright"
with Dead Wood, it's more "You might think your safe in the dark of the night, but these trees come to life."

Not sure if I really made my point, but meh.
