A deck is considered 'mono' when the casting costs of all the cards are the same element.
BAM!

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink

Novas don't cost anything.
Supernovas cost two entropy.

Novas don't cost anything.
Supernovas cost two entropy.
Cards are classified by their background, not what quanta they use. So nova is entropy.

I know that novas are entropy.I don't consider this a mono either. I was just explaining the TC's reasoning.

This is a trio.

although nova does not take anything to play, and animate weapon costs one of ANY element, that does not eliminate the fact that novas are entropy and animate weapons are air.

I could also do this:

Code: [Select]
7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk 7qk
Also, Novas are definately Entropy. They're even grouped under Entropy in the Bazaar.

The thing is, the official definition (which has changed some time ago) states right now that a deck is a mono deck if it uses cards only from a single element (based on category, ie. card's background, and where do you see it in bazaar, not the cost) and other.

This is of course only a definition, so you can have your own definitions and use them in unofficial events, but during official events like weekly tournaments or when it comes to subforums like these mono-deck subforums, it needs to follow the official definition.

So, I guess someone should move this thread.
