It seems a bit weak and unnecessary. While the idea overall could work, it seems unnecessary when Nightfall's already a +1/+1, and Eclipse is a +2/+1. The fact that they don't have the absorb cost, while this does, means that without the candle, its worth is highly questionable.

With Candle, it seems a little better. However, again, requiring 2 cards for a +2/+2, or at best, a +6 with itself included, and also requiring a swarm to get use out of it at all, combined with the maintenance cost, makes this a bit weak. I wouldn't buff the numbers, but I'd either allow for better targets, or lower/change/remove the maintenance cost.

One thing I should have changed is the ability. I have thought about making it effect all creatures thus making it superior to Nightfall but will cost. With devourers in play it wouldn't be too much of a drain though.

If you played this with Nightfall you would get a pretty good bonus (imagining Vampires with Eclipse and this making them 8|6).

It is just an idea at this stage be good to hear more comments.

I don't really see this helping much other than in offense decks.

It will help in offence decks yes but there is more to this than that.

ie:

Photon Rush Shield of Hope:
Use this to up the attack power of your Photons, coupled with Candle it will make your field of Photons 3|3 rather than 1|1 making them more durable in battle and better attackers.

But yes it is more of a card you would have to think through the strategies for yourself.
