Too many people are making complicated cards, so why not make a simple one?

You can compare this to freeze/congeal. I think it is fine.
Totally unoriginal, but also totally fits the existing game.

New cards don't need to be completely original, they can use mechanics already introduced in the game.  I do understand your point though.

Well this is only a one time freeze on one creature, so it isn't nearly as annoying.  However, I like to think of it as a cheap freeze or a weak BB.  Manipulate (Upgraded) can be splashed with any deck as long as you have a Time mark, so this way you don't always have to look at that ugly blue ice.

Well by making the creature stop in time itself, are you not manipulating it to your own desires?

Plus it sounds cool for a spell.

IMO it should be called "Stop | Suspend" and should put them ina  bubble for 3 and 4 turns respectively.

I would also change the picture to something involving a clock.

Yea, I have to agree. It gets an extra time bubble AND the cost decreases by 1. Usually upgraded cards only: 1. Decrease cost (deflagration), 2. increase effectiveness (ruby dragon), 3. Change completely (chaos power). This upgrade does both 1 and 2.


If you check out Freeze | Congeal, you can see that they both cost only 1 quantum yet increase from 3 to 4 missed turns. Shouldn't this be similar?

Pretty much this. 'Manipulate' runs similar to in terms of the 'controlling' theme, while Stop/Suspend actually relate to time on various levels.

Simple and concise ability, and a cool idea I want for users. I don't know if it should mirror Freeze/Congeal exactly with the 3-4 turns per card, but ever since Shockwave + Freeze was made, I keep on wondering if there should be other cards to abuse the time bubble-stun mechanic.

Mind if I use that name instead?  It seems much more appropriate.  As for the picture, I don't want to include a clock as Reverse Time already claims that, plus I have been wanting to use that pic for a while.

Somebody else said that the Up'd card is OP, when in actuality it is 1 turn lower then congeal + it doesn't have Shockwave as an instant kill.  I also want to keep this as a simple, cheap spell for , even if it is a little under powered.

EDIT: Never mind about the name, actually.  I would like to keep the name Manipulate, for my own sake.  However, unless I get a few opinions saying otherwise, I might change the cost.  The turn count is also up for grabs.
