Wouldn't this be OP, especially since your gaining 1 ATK every turn and you can always fractal photons? o.o
Besides the upgraded version, shouldn't it spawn RoL? And wouldn't this + Hope = OP? (Even with only lucifern)

If the upgraded has higher stats, it should have a higher cost, like maybe 7  :air.

Yea I had it with RoLs first but I noticed it'd be really op with Hope. Therefore I just increased the stats, but seeing as it's an upgraded card, it shouldn't cost that much more or is the stats difference too great?

Well yes but to do that you have to add more cards to your deck than you would if the Helios card created a RoL in the first place. So it'd be harder to do the same thing. Also, if you Lucifern 5 photons, the newer ones won't have bioluminescence.

That might be because it's lacking something.  :-\

In any case, awesome art b00mc1ap, however, it is indeed OP, and I can't help but dislike the thought of proper names for creatures, especially when these are legendary names. That is my personal opinion however.

A photon generator I do not have a problem with, however that its attack is increased per each one and not to mention the 1|1-ness of the photons, you're packing some serious deadliness for 5 :light, which can be paralleled to poison, however you can give a maximum of 12 poison counters assuming you have 6 Poison in your deck, and they can't be used for much else. The photons on the other hand can be used for Immolation fodder, they can be used with Luciferin and Hope and can be mutated!!

All in all, this card makes for a mean  :air/ :light deck, leaving alone Wyrm+Blessing, and FFQ strategies  :-\. I like the art, but in my opinion it is overpowered.

Although I'm wondering why you chose air. It's starting to seem like a light element card.

As for the strategy, I meant it would counter the latter ones not generating light.

Yet it still has to be cast again and again with more and more photons. If the other player plays a creature control card, he/she can keep the expensive nymph out of play.


All in all, this card makes for a mean  :air/ :light deck, leaving alone Wyrm+Blessing, and FFQ strategies  :-\. I like the art, but in my opinion it is overpowered.
Thanks for the long feedback. You did make me see it from a different point of view and now I'll have to change it in some way to make it a lot less op. Maybe not increase attack by the amount of photons? Hp? Or should I just leave the N out altogether?

The reason I chose air was not for what the card was like but what the idea behind Apollo and Helios is. They both fly through the air in their chariots. Well... now that you say it it does make a lot more sense for it to be light, especially since Pegasus is also light...

I have a lot of thinking to do :D

ok i see a way to fix this, increase cost by 3, have generate a photon cost 3 light or have the photon generate 2 light, and have it rare.
