PROS:

Fast immediate damage.Minimize deck size.

CONS:

Easy deck outAfter Shurikens run out, about as useful as a Hammer with Mark.

I'm not really a fan of cards that are meant to be used specifically with one other card. Rustler, for example, works with not only FFQ, but also fireflies+fractal, luciferin, Rays of light, a light nymph, etc. This card ONLY works with animate weapon, so I vote no.

What about if playing another one of these with one already in your weapons slot makes the previous one automatically fly (cuz shurkens fly), but maybe only last 2-3 turns, so you keep playing shurikens as they die, and they all deal extra damage, so it's like a shuriken barrage? That's an idea I can totally get behind, as long as it's nerfed to only be overpowered with several shurikens in play. I love the idea, and I think this would make it really work ^_^

The wording needs to be completely reworked. As it stands, it is a permanent that doesn't mention anywhere on the card that it is a weapon, yet it gains "+1/+3 for every other Shuriken on the field," which is a creature trait. Weapons don't have HP. Look at the format zanz uses for weapons and go from there.

On that template you filled out it said something like ***http://Addressofcardimage.jpg*** or some thing like that
upload your image into a hosting/sharing site ( I recommend Tinypic) and they'll give you a URL
replace the url with the one that the hosting site gave you

Or you can just use the description:
"Play this as a creature if your weapon slot if occupied"  The way you have the wording right now is really... messy xD

Well, for one, you don't need the word "Weapon", and "deal 5 damage at the end of turn" you can just use normal damage (like all other weapons ), and the last part I'm a little confused on.  Are you trying for a boomerang effect?

"Weapon: Deal x damage" <-- useless text, how does other flying weapon deal damage?

"..another Shuriken, it..."  <- you can seriously condense the text

"This card is played" <--- useless text, combine with condensed text for condition

Card RETRIEVAL ability?  That nails it, until there are other less conditional cards out with similar effect, won't be supporting this.


Main problem is your wording (forget grammar for now ) and the abilities-cost ratio

You are basically having Flying Weapons, A Weapon AND selective retrieval ability for a measly cost of 4?  It's way too OP in a rainbow deck with air mark.

Lose the retrieval ability, or increase the cost equal in value to its abilities

Well, I'm happy that it isn't messy.

And falconbane, please tell me how to reword and I'll tickle your fancy, as to it being OP if you want I'll raise the cost, but I believe being able to do a fast maximum of:

24 damage for 24  | 30 damage for 24

is not necessarily OP especially when with Unstable Gases you can do an easy

20 damage + 1 damage to each targetable creature on the field for 6 | 5 + 1 + 1 turn.

However if you insist that I raise it to say both at 5 or even 6 I'll do that, however the abilities stay and make the Shuriken.
