NOTES:
This is just a random card I made after finding a cool picture of a planet.

Idea is that this strange planet appears out of nowhere and starts to affect Earth's gravity. Initial idea was that it would have affected both players somehow but I decided to go with "reverse Discord" effect instead.

This kind of sucks because it's pretty much useless in a mono-deck, but you could use it with Supernovas and Quantum Tower, or if your opponent has Discord.

Cost is probably too much but I'll change it later.

Red Planet starts as indestructible like planets should.

The upgraded card says generates  :gravity :gravity, but the table says :gravity :gravity :gravity.
Mistake?
But, kind of awesome. :)
I can think of a nice  :gravity/ :entropy duo with this. ;)
See tiny text for idea. ;D

Wouldn't this be a very powerful gravity source?
This would feed massive dragons quite conveniently if cumulative (the no steal feature supports this heavily).

Though i'm curious how much is 'some of your other quanta'.
Obviously, this would be conveniently powered by quantum pillars, depending on the amount, this can be balanced or OP.

I fixed the table.

And yes, Nova/Supernova and/or Quantum Towers is what I was thinking here. Haven't really thought about any specific decks yet but I'm sure there would be some cool possibilities.

Yep, like you said, what "some of your quantums" means is very important here. I decided to use the same wording as in Discord. So I guess it's a secret. :)

Hm.. now that I think about this.. I think I need to increase the cost a bit.

I think Red sun should produce just 1 quanta. I don't want give gravity quanta much control.
and change cost to 4 :gravity / 3 :gravity

Yeah that could work.

I find it strange that a planet upgrades into a sun.  :)

As for the card, it's interesting. "Red Sun" makes me think of Gravity and Fire synergy.. So, since there already is a bond between the two, is there a possibility of adding a Fire quanta production ability to the upgraded version and making the unupgraded version only produce Gravity? That way, both converts quanta into Gravity and the Sun makes Fire as well. I know it collides in a way, but maybe that can be dealt with by omitting Fire with the conversion?

Edit: I saw your posts in Kael Hate's Terracavern thread.  :-X I don't mean the combination in a way that Gravity is special, just that you mentioned it not working in mono-gravity, which made me think of Multiple Firemasters on the field.

Yeah, the planet/sun thing makes no sense. I'm going to change that as soon as I come up with better names.

My original plan was to make this card so that it only lasted 5 turns or so, then transformed into a "White Dwarf" producing only 1 random quanta per turn or something. Unfortunately there is not enough room on the card. :)

That fire idea is very good. I like it. It's like the hot planet coming closer (like in the picture), starting fires and increasing the temperature.

Maybe Sun | Red Giant for card name?

And I can't help but to imagine a supernova happening when that card is destroyed.

Or maybe destroy this card if supernova was used :P

That actually would be pretty awesome if Supernova had a secondary effect: When this card is used, destroy one random Sun/Red Giant on the field. This effect ignores Sun/Red Giant's effects.

But, there are so many holes to the thought.. maybe.

Haha, yes, a supernova would definitely destroy it, LOL. Extra code, but makes sense on both layers of reality.
