So happy to get this win.

Game 1 (WIN): I was equal parts elated and disappointed to see Aether mark - on one hand, Soras are pretty devastating against Dims, but on the other, Fractal can destroy BW. This game was pretty standard, we both got decent draws, although I never saw a Dial. My damage and Squids came faster early, so I was able to play a BW late to hold off a Fractal, and rode that to the win.

Game 2 (WIN): Similar to the first, but his hand seemed more subpar, and I actually drew Dials in my opening hand - two of them, in fact. I waited until he had me down to about 60 HP before I started chaining them, and drew my third Dial after drawing from the second. Those three turns gave me enough stall to hold off a massive onslaught of golems.

Game 3 (LOSS): We both had good draws here, but he dumped a ton of quanta on the first turn, and got a really quick Fractal because of it. I stalled as much as possible, but it simply didn't work here, as his quanta draw was so excellent. This is the only game I drew my Explosion, and as it wouldn't have helped anyways I saved it in case I could pull a surprise in the next game (or game after if it came to that).

Game 4 (WIN): He had a two pend draw, and I drew both upped pends, a couple other unupped quanta sources, and a Nova, so I had a second turn Squid and Arse, and BW soon after. Even though I had no Soras in my opening hand, I drew two quickly afterwards, and the poison piled on far too quickly for his subpar draw, which also included not playing a Fractal until I had the game sealed anyways.

Great match Terro, all games were close, but a bit of counter and a bit of luck went a long way here. Best of luck in future rounds (except against us, of course).

p.s. hi rob :3

GGs, ddevs, can't be happy to lose of course but I couldn't really hope for much after seeing Death mark, at least without some sort of large RNG God-given gift.

G1: I knew I'd have to get lucky to beat any water deck with a death mark, and was sadly not disappointed. Average start from me, just playing quanta and what golems I could, Dims for no purpose other than delaying Arsenic. His deck was more versatile against other decks than streamlined to beat mine, so I was able to more than make it a contest, although multiple early Chrys and a Squid just meant he could win the race easily, at least after he put down the BW he was almost certain to have. Lost the toss and then lost by a turn.

G2: I was rather slow to start, and although he appeared to have a less than stellar start himself, once he started playing Dials it was clear that he could weather any amount of Golems, and despite my huge damage output, I never got more than a turn to hit him with any strength. Had him below 40 hp and could have killed next turn, but he likely had more defenses in hand. Lost toss.

G3: When I saw that my hand was 6 quanta sources + Golem and I won the toss, I was just praying for a Fractal off the top every turn, since I knew that within the 3-4 turns getting one out would easily win with so much quanta to pump out golems. His good hand, even from a counter, was sadly not enough to compete with my incredible one.

G4: Just a very slow start from myself and a great one from him. Very uneventful, I don't even thing I managed to deal 20 damage this game.

Okay let me elaborate: I meant that nova-fueled agressive rainbows are both very popular and have a high win rate this war.
