ART: knagshutters | Freedigitalphotos.com IDEA: Terroking NOTES: Yeah, sort of like NT for creatures. You can power up your measly Photons or Antlions into beaters or use it on your opponent's creatures with troublesome abilities; you would generally prefer a dragon to a Gravity Nymph. I'm not sure if it's too expensive or too cheap, but would err on the side of the latter. It does cost you a card and a turn to work properly, though. It could be a spell but I felt that might be too good. Also, this feels more appropriate. Other creatures (Animates Daggers and such, although who animates Daggers anyway? ) will turn into a random dragon. SERIES:

Not really at all. I mean, they both turn creatures into dragons, but in totally different ways. To make an analogy of the difference, I would compare Phase Shield to Titanium. Temporary and more powerful vs. consistency, more than enough to make them dissimilar ideas. Not to mention the spell vs. permanent and wide-effect vs. targeted differences.

Used offensively:
2 cards + 1 turn + 5 + ~ cost for a dragon.
A dragon costs 10 + 1 card.
2 cards + 5 ~= 1 card + 7 .

I do not think 1 turn + the miniscule cost for whatever other creature is the same as 3 .

Used defensively (as in with antimatter):
2 cards + 1 turn + 5 + 8 = removal of a creature, around 10hp per turn.
The above is worth around 1 card + 13 + 1 turn.
Removing a creature is worth around 2-3 .
Sanct heals 4hp per turn for 4 + 1 card. 2.5 sancts = 10 + 2.5 cards ~= 1 card + 13 .
1 card + 13 + 1 turn =?= 1 card + 15-16

Here again, 1 turn is worth 3 , which I do not really agree with.

Yeah, I think it should cost at least one more, if not 2.

Light dragon would definitely be the most favorable, with phase dragon close behind. Both just happen to be the two elements with 0 cost creatures. (Unupped. Earth has Gemfinder upped, but who really wants a stone dragon?)

Random dragon for an Other creature.

I think the point when it costs the same or almost the same as a dragon is when it becomes useless, since at that point you should just be playing the dragon. This takes an extra card as well as an extra turn to get going, so I think it's if not balanced then not far off.

Remember this is out of element (Unless you want to make stone dragons for some strange reason)
