Apple Pi

Hello Elements forums! I'm ManofPi, and I've been playing Elements on Kongregate since mid 2010, but I'm just getting into the community forums because I'd like to participate in Battle League and pvp tournaments.     I got into Elements because I was looking through kong multiplayer games, and I stuck with it because it's a pretty great CCG. I'm a programmer, and I think it's awesome when developers make games like this on their own time -- basically as a hobby -- just because they love doing it. Kudos to zanz for continuing to update the game and keep up with the community!

have you started browsing the forum for guides and grinders? they're really good

since you've been playing from 2010, I'm curious to know how far you are in the game. (i.e. score,  , upgraded cards, etc.)

One question, why did you use 'Apple Pi' as the subject? Is that your in game name?

Battle your way to victory! Join the ranks of the Vampire and attack in a Liquid Shadow while Equipping a Cloak and a Vampire Dagger. Proceed to shield yourself behind the Dusk and the Fog as your opponents cast Fire Bolts, Ice Bolts, and cause utter Pandemonium to occur. When the deed is done, walk away, without a scratch. I've read quite a bit of stuff in the forums since I've been playing, I just haven't posted at all   
I'm at 50k score with 6 - 12 copies of all the rares, 9 nymphs, and... ~100 upgraded cards. I've taken long breaks from Elements, I'd probably have more nymphs if I hadn't

My in-game name is ManofPi. I just like Pi and Apple Pie.       I also considered using 'Number Pie' as the subject line -- it's just a cheap pun related to my name.

EXPLAIN TO ME SHOUTBOX PLEASE

No, seriously. I've been looking for a nice and simple shoutbox/chatroom for a website I run, and while I welcome you here with any amount of gratitude I can spare for on-topic Elements reasons, some basics of aforementioned communication function would be nice.

I mean, I know enough code to (theoretically) set up a PHP database and make it all secureish with AJAX in-n-out, so I don't need the whole rundown. Just a few pointers on what goes where. If it's not too much trouble. Thank you.
