ART:  EmeraldTiger (Source) IDEA: Helston NOTES: Reduces damage taken from all non-momentum sources by the player. Every third turn, the shield's in the wrong part of its orbit to block any damage, and lets all damage through in full. If a replacement shield is played over the old one, the orbit restarts and you have two more turns before taking full damage again. Averages out to reducing damage by 33% if it isn't chained. Reduces spell damage to soft counter Bolt spells, as well as help create a difference between Momentum and SoW/Psion. SERIES:

Interesting shield...I like it, it promises to be more useful than the generally scorned Gravity shield, but still has it's weakpoints.
Curious how Gravity's shields seems better suited for dealing with a few, powerful creatures instead of a bunch of little ones though.

The simple 'orbit' mechanic you've put here really helps turn the card from a boring average DR-shield to something that is interesting to play and thematically fits Gravity very well.

This is pretty cool! I agree with what Z said. I also see an interesting thematic relation to Gravity Shield. It keeps things down, while this one is moving. They're counterparts

Something I just thought of-what if the shield alternated between physical and spell damage?
The idea being to expand on spell damage as a mechanic and interactions.
Of course, this idea could be used elsewhere, like for  ...

Tried putting it somewhere between where Fog Shield (with an arguably more balanced 3|2 cost instead of 2|1), and phase shield's 6|5. Chaining becomes quite expensive for the benefit you gain.

Any ideas what should happen with odd attacks? Round up, round down, or randomly pick?
